Macca only a miracle will get us more than 2 more wins this year Which will leave us in a similar spot to last year. On that basis we have shown no improvement during season 2025. If not sooner than years end the media will be baying for blood. Now you should not run your club club because of the media but imo they will be correct in suggesting we are going nowhere and change is needed at the top.

JVR might yet be a good KPF if they would let me play the position. He spends more time in the ruck and off the ground than playing as a forward. We are murdering him. Jefferson will never be a KPF at senior level. Some players move forward from there junior days others don't. It's time to change!

See there lies the problem if we are keeping Goodwin only because he has a contract for 2026 then we doomed. As the old saying goes doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is madness. It's time to make the call.

You are a few light, Jefferson, Verall, Sharp, sparrow and Laurie are not AFL level talents. As well there needs to be a lot of change in the FD starting with the coach. He has been with the MFC for approx 10 years for whatever reasons his game plan is no longer revalant and the players seem to have lost the plot. He should be told his time is up and pay him out. We need a new coach and quite a few others. We need to start now or 2026 will go the same way as this year. It's time!

I agree Joe, Jefferson was poor 2 years away! That's never. It's time to move on from him he is not a AFL talent. I have said to play him for a number of games. However there was zero in that game to show him as a needed player.

Correct I missed one game. You may well be correct, I am no big fan don’t get me wrong. However this is his 3rd year and we need to know if he has any potential. He needs to be played for better or worse.

He played 1 game and kicked 2 goals the next game broke his hand in the first quarter. So saying does little at senior level is so far wrong. Finals for us is over it’s time to find out if he has a future.

Happy with it DS17. I like to think of myself as mature. I have no idea how old you are but it is not simply "a state of mind" for a lot of people as they age pain becomes a constant companion which often cannot be fixed. Believe me it drains you. Go Dees.

Agree Rtf but it seems the FD don't agree with us. Sharp is a quarter and at a stretch 2 quarter player the Lions let him go because after a number games he wasn't sharp. Kolt is at best so far a 2 quarter player. Kolt is a young player and as finals are now out I guess getting games into him is ok. They may think he is our best chance to fix the forward line scoring woys. Dropping JVR mistyfies me.

Jefferson is in finally, play him for the next four games even if he is poor on Saturday he needs a run at it. Give him the luxury of games to find his feet like we have with Kolt. Kolt has had most of his games playing well for a quarter or two never more than that, give the same opportunity to Jefferson.

No one can remember Dr. As most on here know am no big fan of JVR however I said last year this constantly playing him as second ruck is doing him no favours. Last week he seemed to play most the first half as a forward with 2 goals I would take that every week from a kPF for a first half. Then in the third quarter he looked to spend most of the quarter in the ruck or on the bench. In the last quarter it maybe me but was he on the ground? Are we trying to ruin this guys career? This week he is dropped why? He is a KPF play him there all game. If I was him I would have my agent looking for a new home because the MFC is screwing him.
