Agree Macca I seldom watch other games. It is not as good to watch. Most of my friends are older like me. They seldom go to night games in winter. I have keen tiger fans who did not go last night. Just too cold and the don't like catching trains at night after a game.

What I was suggesting Macca is smaller crowds don’t necessarily mean less interest.

If we lose I get 10 days to avoid pie fans. I think the pies play G better than us.

Very few people go to League games but they have good ratings and are now catching up to the AFL in media rights. Going is not everything these days. I suspect the AFL would sell all games to pay tv if they could. That actually might improve attending figures but it will never happen.

I don't think they care Macca the money is in the media. Spectators going to games are running a bad last. They will make all the right noises but the money speaks loudest.

I was thinking the same thing. You would have to think he was doubtful earlier in the week. Being a Monday game I have my fingers crossed.

Figures overall suggest not Dr. I cannot see how having more Thursday and god helps us Wednesday night games does anything other than keep people at home. Last nights tigers numbers says it all. I spoke to fanatical tigers friends yesterday who said they were not going. Too cold and too hard to get home etc.

I am not sure why people find it hard to believe why numbers are down in attendance. We had 2 years of being discouraged / banned from going, tv became the only way and a controlling body that does everything it can to suit the broadcast media. Surprise surprise the population have found a different cheaper way to view the game.
