  1. We can thank the afl with their constant byes for that problem with smith.
  2. old dee replied to Harves's topic in Melbourne Demons
I tend to agree with you but it won’t happen. He went to Freo was poor and they could not wait to off load him. Hasn’t exactly been a dynamo at GWS. Sadly I think his time has past.
  3. Well the jury is back in after last night. Another KPF who was only as good as Brown and we win that game last night. Melsham was never a KPF and never will be. Play Smith even if he has only one game at Casey this time around. time to give JVR a chance. Also time to replace a few who have been poor for weeks. ANB, Spargo and Sparrow have been poor for weeks out this week IMO. if we keep doing the same as the last six weeks we will get the same result.
  4. Unless we make some real changes to 3 or 4 players and get Tmac back for the finals I cannot see us achieving much this year. I seriously doubt Tmac will be back. For better or worse Smith JVR come in how can they be worse? Harmes back in is a certainty IMO. We have been carrying Spargo and NB for weeks they need a game or two at Casey. If we keep doing the same thing that we have been for the last six weeks we will get same results.
  5. Will it actually matter tu?
  6. So how did we go last night Peter positive? Only 30k Dees turned up. Obviously 25k are negative like me. What don’t you understand about not going on a cold wet night for older Dees fans? It’s not negative it just plain common sense for those of us with failing bodies.
  7. You have my vote KDA. When you keep doing the same things and expect a different result you know we are in trouble.
  8. I agree and I wrote a piece early on in this thread to that effect. It is a statement of fact. Nothing more or less.
  9. Honestly who would want him?
  10. Much better, People have short memories.
  11. In 8 hours time we will know.
  12. No chance she is a pies supporter.
  13. Bad omen today at our new abode, magpies great my wife on the veranda this morning!!
  14. Why am I not surprised.
  15. I keep saying this, the new ceo should not be from the old boys club or little will change. They all owe something to someone.
  16. So no taste buds Mr. Leg?
  17. Sadly I have not had this one. Lowland single malt.
  18. Ha ha, St Albans is now populated by mainly people of Asian and Indian origins. I sometimes catch the train on that line when going to the G see very few fans of any club. On Broady line you see a lot of fans.
  19. No one from St Albans goes to the footy.
  20. My apologies as I did miss the " if".
  21. Courageous to play JVR as a first year kid against the pies. Smith needs another game at Casey but he won't get that till weekend after next. That leaves MB in my opinion. Has shown very little st senior level this year but it is hard to imagine he would give less than one kick.
  22. One is over the hill and other never managed to climb it. I don't have a problem with milkshake he at least has proven ability.
  23. What if Brown doesn't make it? Who then?
  24. He played forward last week at Casey and trained with forwards this week. He won't get another game till Saturday week. So who knows.
  25. I don't think Brown we pass the fitness test. That being the case it will be the Weid and JVR. I don't see them picking just JVR. 27 hours and we know.
