I know where your heart and head is @binman but give us supporters some credit. While I didn't watch the segment you referenced , I do watch/listen/read to some of the analysis provided by the Media. However, ultimately I make my own decisions based on what I've seen. I don't think footy supporters are totally gullible.

The Manor will be a cold and lonely place tonight, as I find myself abandoned by both the domestic staff and friends. There are positives though, and I believe my spirit will be lifted by a famous Melbourne victory ( and Shiraz ). Geez Col ...... It's taken me a while to respond because I was really quite touched by your calling upon my expertise. And yes .... at the risk of sounding boastful I was rather at the forefront ( avant- garde even) in in certain areas of textual analysis. However, that was in the past, and the works that I focussed on - mainly Flint and Heffner- are now considered .... well, shall we say passe'.
