  1. Being a traditionalist, I'll be inhaling a couple of meat pies from the local bakery but the real key to a good day 's barracking will be sloshing them down with a decent shiraz. Timing is key off course so the first one will hit the cakehole at about 2.30.
  2. Well your good old Uncle Bitter is back after a spell of enforced rehab. ...... and a better man for it no doubt. I'm positively uplifted at the moment. Very [censored] that the game is in Sydley - the Olympic city as I had big plans for the footy (and after) today! As has been said elsewhere, the filth will come out hard right from the start. I expect they will stay in it until about halfway through the second and then our class should start to tell. We've suffered some costly losses to the filth at times and now it's time to put the boots in and give Bucks an unhappy send off. Dees to win by 38 points and sit happily atop the ladder going into the bye.
  3. Langdon concussed !!!!
  4. No change unless Viney is available.
  5. One of the best team efforts I can recall. Oliver Harmes Rivers Brayshaw Gawn Lever ( Good performance from Petty also)
  6. I now believe the Grand Final guarantee I've been paying for 15 years will finally pay dividends !!! Now where is the maid hiding ?
  7. Yeah I know skinny ...... and you even played cricket!!!
  8. New lockdown New maid Dees win LG !!!!!
  9. They must have ghost writer for their sight ! No way western burbs illiterates could write some of that stuff.
  10. I've been open minded on Weed and I was there when he produced the goods against Hawthorn and Geelong in those two memorable finals. However, he's been in the system 5 (?) years and has played 40+ games but apart from some cameos cannot produce consistently. He does not clunk enough marks for a key forward and, IMO, is a poor reader of the play. Come September a big key forward can make the difference. BBB is a proven key forward. He has to be be given the opportunity to get to know our system and players. I would persevere with him and scrap Weed at this stage.
  11. Fair point Beetle but , given the earlier decision against Spargo that deliberate that was not paid in the dying moments was an absolute Barry Crocker. It's the inconsistency that has always ****ted me and the fact that one crucial decision in front of goal can outweigh 10 marginals elsewhere This stuff frustrates the [censored] out of me.
  12. Joeboy - Too negative tonight
  13. I wondered about this Red. I couldn't believe the number of times our players lost their feet.
  14. Great game [censored] up in the end by disgraceful umpiring!
  15. That was bull [censored] free
  16. Stay cool folks - we are in front
  17. The problem with that is that TMac is currently our most dangerous/ effective forward I would be loathe to move him from that area
  18. Dead set correct. I was having this discussion after watching Langdon run up and down the wing against Carlton I know I’m oversimplifying but we do have some sort of “ like for like” for almost every player - expect Langdon
  19. I have NFI as to what this thread is about !
  20. Yes. Apparently she hasn’t been a member for the constitutionally required term They have now changed her appointment to some sort of “ex officio “ role What a beautiful [censored] up !!
