  1. Jesus H Christ. Talk about long bow. (Also, you don't need the "blatantly". He didn't say it, full stop.)
  2. Got nothing on the BS that goes around Demonland. Weideman got injured in the Casey game, was reported at the time. Oscar was injured at the end of the GWS game, also reported at the time, even though he played the following week. He also had hip operations in the off-season, so perhaps a combination of those factors.
  3. Also perhaps one of those players who looks better at AFL level, rather than hurly burly of the lower leagues.
  4. Nowhere near it. It's the bottom 6/fringe players who are our undoing, especially when it comes to keeping possession (disposal). Wagner, Petty up one end, Hunt, Hannan the other. Throw in ANB, Baker, Frost ... just too many players who can't reliably hit another player by hand or foot. Plus Jetta/Lever/Hibberd/Melksham out really hurting us.
  5. It wasn't "next week", it was 3 weeks.
  6. Not as much as the clowns here. Jesus wept.
  7. Now just waiting for the "Still no Preuss ... faarrrkk" posts. And 1, 2 ...
  8. Not really - not only is he not even named in the VFL this week, Oscar hasn't played since he was dropped, having missed the last Casey match as well. 4-6 week case of mystery injury syndrome?
  9. You could potentially argue anything. But you continually to "potentially argue" that players came back too early.
  10. Not including Lewis after doing very well down at Casey is a bit of a statement - though perhaps they need someone who can play tall? Josh Wagner with a get-out-of-jail free card.
  11. Now it is. In ANB, Petty, Lockhart and T Smith
  12. He says clearly what the fix is, which is basically the same one that McCartney alluded to. Time.
  13. Re the forward line: "We're just looking to get some continuity, to getting guys used to playing together and working together, primarily. There's maybe a few things we'll put a higher emphasis on, but I'm not the panacea to the success of the forward line. Jade Rawlings
  14. Nothing to do with halfway through the last year. The most important part of Misson's year is the off-season. He'll be gone in August. It's now June. As for the rest ... yes, standard practice, e.g.: " ... it’s best for the outgoing ED to disengage from the organization for several months, if not a full year, even in cases where the board desires his or her continued involvement." https://murdocktrust.org/prepare-executive-transition/
  15. Fairly standard practice. Makes it easier for the new person coming in and minimises disruption by ensuring a certain amount of continuity.
  16. The problem with this is the underlying assumption that you can take ANY player, and whatever their shortcomings, it's down to the coaches or the staff or the Board or even the CEO. Sometimes it's just because the players aren't very good.
  17. Red herring in regards to the discussion at hand. You made specific - and ridiculous - claims about the number of marks the forwards were taking. You were wrong first time, and doubled down when you were called on it, even when presented with the facts. Serious confirmation bias BS. Pathetic.
  18. Yeah, what would professional coaches know about what's best.
