It's a real conundrum this because he is our best tagger and leads our tackle count. But....too one dimensional for mine, it's like we are always playing one short in the centre square. Adelaide showed why you need strong hard running skilled ball winners, not just taggers.

I really like Jack and he has great skills and a good player....but If anyone saw Nic Nat tear it up on the weekend, we made an error. We are severely lacking in getting the ball out of the middle, and Nic is a machine at this aspect of the game. You can't tell me that we would have got smashed that badly in the middle yesterday if we had Natanui playing for us. It's all about needs. jack was recruited as a key forward, which now three years later still looks miles off. We now have Clark who is our main target, but we severely lack at centre bounces. Like I said I love Jack but we would be a much better side with Nic.

Before the game they showed some highlights of his career, and i was shocked at how his game has changed from some one who backs him self 100 % , to some one with no confidence who second guesses all the time.

I think if can get Hogan, who is a big strong unit, ala jonno brown ,or Hurley but bigger, then that takes care of our forward line along with Clark as the two big targets. If we can snare two experienced mids out of Sewell,Boak and Goddard ,and we draft Viney and Toumpas....well there's your premiership team right there.

I don't know but if we gave them pick 4 for Hogan,it would be on the proviso they don't bid for Viney.

I think we are going all out for hogan because Cloke is going to Carlton. That's if we trade pick four to GWS for him. That will give us The second power forward we are after, Toumpas at pick 3 ,and Viney. We still have money in our war chest to pick up the best midfielder available hopefully a Boak.

Wasn't his best game, but I have been impressed with his attitude and effort. It's good that he is getting these games as the number one ruck, can only give him more confidence. Just wish someone would teach him how to kick.

The hit outs may ave been close but did you watch the game? I lost count of the amount of times Giles out marked Spencer one on one. His kicking was atrocious

I suppose I'd just love to see him take the game on , on his own terms, without having to mind a player as a backman. Could also be tried up forward or on the wing.

I was just looking at a picture of Tom McDonald and was struck by the similarities between him and Jim Stynes. Same sort of body shape, albeit a bit beefier. Has great athleticism ,and good endurance,I know it sounds left field ,but I bet he would be an amazing ruck man. He would get to a lot of contests, take heaps of marks, and either drift forward or back. He is also tall enough ,would give us great drive, could be a superstar as a follower.
