I bet against us all the time but usually as part of a multi bet - considering our performances over the last decade you'd be an [censored] if you put money on us.T

The only time this has hurt me is Queens Bday 2012, I needed Collingwood to win by over 45 points or something and I would pocket over $600 for a $5 bet. Sammy Blease kicks a great goal from the boundary with under a minute to go to bring the margin to 41 points and I lose out. Was cursing that goal for weeks.

$5 sound reasonable, most could forget about five bucks... $100 though, thats a tank of petrol and a good lunch... I guess i just don't get gambling...

Last I checked there is no 'what is their first pick' clause for FA compo. Then again, the AFL have historically been quite happy to invent / override process as they go.

lol... If we finish last again and Frawley leaves, then really we should be looking at picks 1(PP), 2 and 3(Frawley compensation)... Would the AFL do it? And if they don't.. How will they justify giving one to GWS?

I must say when I started this poll I didn't expect "I don't care" to be the top of the poll.

Why would you be surprised? We have been finishing last or there abouts for years, its dull the effect... Kind of like the Australian Cricket team winning all the time a few years back, It becomes normal and uninteresting... Its hard to care if we achieve similar result each year... I wont be reflecting on last year with pride as a better year to this one, because we finish last this year and third last the year before... Its all the same to me...

I would much rather a First in the Commonwealth games Marathon than Third in an Olympic games event!

I was never the last one picked in Primary School, around the middle, but In secondary moved up the ladder considerably!

By the time I was of Adult years I was always one of the first picked in any sport!

I won my awards in the equivalent then of a "Cesspool" Standard stage.

Well its like this, you can be always happy with whatever level of achievement you like! I never finished third I don't think, in any awards in my career. Finished first in plenty of Footy and Cricket awards, so its all relative. There are standards and standards! So Third in a Commonwealth games event is pretty good! The equivalent on the world stage would be?? and let me finally ask this, would we be talking about this if it wasn't Jack Trengoves sister??

There's already been cheap shots at Jack here about his running...smh... Jeez... I'm sure there will be more, but really give it a rest... Jack has been playing with stress fractures in his foot for almost two years... The club should have this picked up earlier, they are at fault here... Not Jack... Is Shuey injured? Haven't seen or heard of him for a while... Clearly when he plays well, the Eagles look great... He's a rock solid player and i definitely target him in a trade, if he could come back 100%... Same with Richard Douglas...

If we aren't in the hunt for finals, then i don't care where we finish... 18, 12, 9... May as well finish last... After 7 years going on 8, its nothing new really... On mmm tonight at the end of the coverage from the melbourne studio they said they will talk about Frawley tomorrow and which clubs have spoken to him and Garry mentioned that some coaches may have contacted him mentioned Chris scott. Garry basically said melbourne should offer motlop 3 years and 700,000. I think his point was how would Scott feel if roosy spoke to one of his players.

I thought there was some rule about approaching FA players and you have to wait until the end of the season.

lol... I'd be surprised if he hasn't already agreed to something... The rule is just a token gesture for fans losing players... the AFL don't mind the shady back room deals, they'd just say to clubs "don't get caught"...

Collingwood wont rush Adams... He will develop there at a steady rate, like most young players... We place way to much pressure on our second and third year players, because we rely on them... Unlike other clubs.... If Adams was playing for us, most here would have him half way out the door... I doubt Collingwood are disappointed by his progress...

If it were a choice between Treloar and Shiel, then I'd go for Treloar... Shiel looks a solid player, but Treloar is in the top ten midfielders in the comp this year... Easy choice really...

Seems to be a massive group crush thing happening here with Shiel... I'd say Cameron and Treloar are way better players than Shiel...
