  1. Giving out barcodes to people who never post on this site will just see your tickets up on eBay within minutes for ten times the price.
  2. Yeah you're probably right, I guess it depends on which order they release the bays in. You'd assume priority 1 get ground/2nd level first and once that's exhausted they move to the upper levels. When we got seats to the GF in 2000 we were up the top of the old Ponsford Stand. No idea what the allocation was like then though, my dad organised all that as was still a teenager.
  3. As far as stereotypes go, it could be worse. I never understood why being well off is meant to be a negative? I guess you need to be a Richmond or Collingwood supporter to understand.
  4. Sorry I'm a bit slow, what does this mean?
  5. From what I can gather it could be anywhere. They just allocate the tickets based on what section you want or "best available". You might get lucky and be level 1 on the flank/pocket or you may get shunted up the top of level 4 somewhere.
  6. No what it means is if you put in 6 tickets in the ballot and someone ends up saying "I can't afford it/can't go" bad luck! You either buy all 6 or you get nothing.
  7. Next time you see him, give him a punch in the nads from the people of Victoria
  8. Club members AFL members with full/Gold membership will be guaranteed a ticket if their club of support makes it. AFL Members with Silver membership (still on the waitlist for full) are unlikely to get a ticket. They can go in the club ballot though as their AFL membership also counts as a club membership for their club of support however it will not be the same barcode, you'll need to find your club barcode from recent club emails.
  9. Who is willing to fork out some money to buy up our seat allocation in Perth even if we don't go? The noise of affirmation may be less affirmative if there's only 30k of them there and the stadium is half empty
  10. How times have changed in the last few weeks. Stuff em bring em all on! I want another crack at the Tiggers
  11. Too right OD I've been waiting my whole life to see a Melbourne side "play like Demons" in Checkers immortal words. Not only that but seeing a midfield with the talent and guts of Oliver, Brayshaw, Viney and Gawn is something I thought I'd never see.
  12. It's so dumb not least of which is because they have players running around for their team who would take offence themselves. Have they already forgotten Cyril? When I was about 15/16 a Saints supporter was making similar comments about Farmer I gave him a serve and reminded him about a guy called Nicky Winmar he went pretty quiet after that.
  13. Not to mention Rougheads Selwood impersonation in the last - goal.
  14. If we get our forward 50 entries right we will be close to unstoppable. Still the one thing that's holding us back from being an absolutely dominant side. We are still young though, the next few years will be bloody exciting. Still got Lever and Hogan on the sidelines too How good is Viney, the last 10 minutes of the 3rd quarter he just went full on Beast Mode. Reminded me of Marshawn Lynch circa 2014 for the NFL fans here just busting through tackles.
  15. OMFG What a mature performance. This team is building something special. How good was the "Melbourne" chant after the game? GO YOU MIGHT DEMONS!!!!!
  16. Any chance she pisses her pants on stage again?
  17. 22 and sunny today
  18. I'm sure there would be members who wobt be able to make it over who could help out with a membership barcode for the game.
  19. Yeah I got that too, jumped on to check where those great seats were out of interest. They're at the back of level 4 behind the goals at each end. MCG predicting 90k so it will be similar to last week, hopefully with the same partisan Demons crowd. Compared to Pies/GWS where only 68k predicted.

    NFL

Yep our D was great, Derron Lee (i think it was) got a pick 6 of his own and we also returned a punt for a TD which hasn't happened for a long time.

That rule is absolute rubbish at first I thought they were being called for late hits but then I realised no it's every tackle you're not allowed to land on the QB. Youve gotta protect vulnerable players but that's just swinging it far too far in the QBs favour. NFL want to protect their skill players though to make it more interesting for tv Oh and what a shellacking by the Jets!!! Couldn't believe it especially after Saviour Sam threw a pick 6 on the first play if his career. I can't remember the Jets ever putting up that many points - they probably have I just can't remember. Gonna be a long season for the Lions was nice to see Patricia looking like a stunned mullet on the sidelines, not so easy without Belichick/Brady helping you out
  22. Needs to fix up his disposal and learn to move laterally instead of straight lines. He tends to run too far on occasions too.
