  1. If the governments were serious about ensuring Australia can carry on BAU they would cease all international arrivals until we have a proper quarantine system in place and a healthy majority of people vaccinated.
  2. Yes!!! Not only the ones for the club but also That Was The Season That Was and the ones for each decade (Sensational 70s, Electrifying 80s and 90s The Decade That Delivered). I'm fortunate enough to have obtained most (all?) of That Was The Season That Was from 1978-2001 unfortunately there were a couple years missing in the late 80s when I think Broadcom had the rights and channel 7 didn't do it. I have to revisit the 98 one Hotter Than Hell - Demon Attack 94 got a huge run when I was a kid and the 2000 one I watched a few times as well but I don't think I ever had a copy of 98. Will have to search it out on YouTube.
  3. Perhaps the Hawks game? Would mean 3 consecutive weeks of travel though, so yeah the GWS makes the most sense (assuming NT let us in).
  4. Windy Hill 1990
  5. My sister finally got around to getting hers today as well
  6. Not worried at all
  7. Yes, and more than I can ever remember
  8. If we win those 3 there's a good chance we won't lose for the rest of the season.
  9. I'm pretty sure the curves been flattened out now. I was all for the lockdowns last year while they got their [censored] sorted but this can't just keep going unabated, especially for a virus that has around a 2-3% mortality rate. Shutdown any international travel until they get the quarantine facilities built and the vaccine is rolled out on a large scale and let the rest of us get on with our lives.
  10. Payback for TMac having a crack at Petracca earlier for not moving the ball on quickly from halfback when TMac was free on the wing?
  11. That's the mentality I've been craving for years. Don't get ahead of yourselves, the focus must always be on the next game, the next quarter, the next contest. It's about being in the moment and focusing on what can I do, right now, to win, to be successful. The selflessness this year has been great to watch as well and comes from players having well defined roles and trusting the system. They all know what they need to do for the team to be successful, they don't all have to worry about getting 30 disposals and being the matchwinner. Just play your role in the cohesive unit and the team will succeed.
  12. Viney, May, Pickett
  13. The important thing to remember is this team has been built to compete for a number of years. Of course the aim is to win the flag this year but if we don't it doesn't mean this group can't do it - we just have to back up and go again next year and the year after and the year after. If we finish top 4 for 4 or 5 years it gives us a great opportunity to break the drought.
  14. To answer the question, I'm certain I saw another club's cheersqusd had then earlier in the year but can't remember who
  15. The game day threads are a way for people to relieve frustration and anxiety while watching the game (generally) alone. I don't get why people take it so seriously, everything in their should be taken with a barrel of salt.
  16. They got a few in the second out of the centre which helped them retain momentum when I think we had started to turn things a little.
  17. What a f1og
  18. He loves the little digs at us, that's all right just keep plugging away and eventually they'll have no choice BUT to respect us.
  19. I find it far more stressful watching on tv. Can't see what's happening up the field and without the crowd to alleviate the tension.
  20. Great username ???
  21. Williams is the kicking coach isn't he
  22. Give Salem a rest next week then the bye to get over his niggles?
  23. It was reminiscent of the play against the Bombers a few years back when Salem kicked the winner.
