Sure, but I'd argue Brown and a winger (or two) are absolute musts for us this off season. Vanders, ANB, Brayshaw or Baker on a wing next year means we're stuffed.

Glad Carlton are paying him so much. How ridiculous if true. If Carlton aren't really in the finals race next year, I can see Cripps leaving. He'll be 26 next year and has never been remotely near a finals campaign.

It's already been reported a few times that we offered Phillips a deal at the same time or roughly the same time as Smith. It's matter of what we have to get the deal done, given Phillips has a year to run on his contract, which was not the case with Smith.
