Board Changes
Good point. But it depends whether Dunstall's role had the same remit as Green's.

Board Changes
Sure, but is Green the most qualified to do this? We shall see.

Board Changes
They've been around for 56 years have they? Strange logic, but each to their own, Biffboy.

Board Changes
Based on what? How would you know the operation of the board or otherwise?

Turf War
Austrian actually.

Board Changes
Yep, I found this bit interesting: Led by Chairman Glen Bartlett, the Melbourne Board has reviewed its composition over the past 12 months, to ensure the right mix is in place to achieve the strategic objectives it has set out for the next three years. This process identified that with Thurin retiring from the Board, ongoing expertise in the commercial real estate space was required. It was also identified that a director with a strong AFL background was necessary, given the Club’s core business.

Rennick's a property and legal guy.

You've got mail
Yeah, real bugger. Was hoping we'd land him as midfield coach.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Yeah, hence my 'they can't ask for the world'. But you said less than a second rounder. Good luck with that. Providing Brown passes the fitness test, if we could land him for a single second rounder, I'd take it and run.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Couple of points about this. 1) You're assuming North want to get rid of him, not the other way around. 2) They essentially pushed him out the door under Shaw, so they can't ask for the world, but doesn't mean we can get him for a bag of crisps. He'll still likely cost at least a second rounder, possibly more.

Time to have a talk about Jayden
Indeed. Thanks Wobbly. I'm very lucky to have you.

Brad Crouch
The midfield is pretty ordinary...

Time to have a talk about Jayden
I don't mind Jayden, but I think he's the sort of player who might yield something handy for us in a trade. He's not a lock in best 22, so it could be a win win for all.

Reckon you're massively overrating them, but each to their own.

Jesse Hogan on the way out at Freo?
Well, there's being aggressive and then there's being stupid. What a ridiculous trade that would be. A first rounder and Brayshaw for someone they're happy to move on?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Totally. Ham, Higgins and two more. Ultimately, at least one will be depth, but we need better depth that can come in and play consistently well in that small forward pressure role. Even without Brown we need to shift our make up to something like this IMV.

At the risk of sounding like a sycophant, where do I sign up for the Bob newsletter? I like the cut of your jib, squire.

Assistant Coaches 2021
Soft cap mate. Have to reduce wages. I reckon Richardson will take the reigns here.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Geez, you're a sassy character sometimes, Steve. No need for it really.

Trade Targets
Are you saying the system is great or the team is great or both? I reckon their system, driven by their elite core, is what holds it all together.

Weideman Takes Strides Forward
Yeah, he's still too soft in the contest IMO, but doesn't mean he won't get there.

Weideman Takes Strides Forward
There was certainly some improvement, but question marks remain. Let's hope Sam can build further on this season.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
I'd agree with this mate. Brown and the MFC have spoken. I certainly haven't heard that we've met with Phillips or have spoken to him at all. That is not to say it hasn't happened, but I think the chat around Phillips came about on here due to him being squeezed out and being a good fit for us. Particularly, with TMac being mentioned in the Collingwood conversation, I think the 2+2 was flipping those two. I hope we're looking at him nevertheless, particularly if Polec is no longer an option.

Full Review of the AFL called for by Swans and Hawks
Okay, I have to step in here. The French Socialists created the neoliberal EU and were neoliberal monetarists. There is taxpayer money at state and territory level because they don't issue the currency, they need it for revenue, but it is government or public money from the currency issuing Federal Government. Federal taxes don't fund spending. This would be inflationary. Taxes place a demand on the currency and are used to control inflation, while bonds are issued to control interest rates. In 5,000 years the currency issuer has never put its tax revenue back into circulation. And this stuff is not left or right wing, it's just monetary operations and how the economy actually operates within a floating exchange system.
