Crowns have 9 changes and multiple first gamers. Mind you we have an almost pristine injury list. This is the worst Crows side in their history and comfortably the weakest list in the league atm. And yet we are staring down the barrel of a loss. Unforgivable.

We could win by 10 goals and it won't matter. This team and this coach don't have it. Need to cut our loses. Fail quickly. We are just letting this drag on now.

2006, Travis. Round 1 we lost to Carlton. We then lost to them again in Round 18 whilst sitting 3rd on the later. Two of their three wins for the year came against us. We missed out on the top 4 by half a game. So very, very Melbourne.

And people question Barlett's motive. The board has worked better than any other board in the past 50 years to get us to a position. We are ready for takeoff as a club and company but are held back by shocking on-field performance. Rightly frustrated. Bartlett and co. have done their job. Now over to Goodwin and Co.

A head coach's KPIs are ultimately weighted more to team performance holistically so to say "it's a player problem not a coach problem" is in and of itself implicating the coach.

If we don't win by 8+ goals, we won't be playing finals, and Goodwin won't see out his contract. Never have we faced the prospect of such a one-sided match-up. If we can't win this comfortably then Goodwin and much of the team can gagf.

reasonable variables but they also haven't impacted most other teams that were expected to play finals and contend. we have looked very average in 5 of our 8 games with the Carlton game being poor after quarter time. it's been a tough season no doubt but last week they gave up and seemed to lack any real drive to want to compete with the genuine best. it's been a common theme for 50 years. at our worst we've looked bottom 4 and at our best for maybe 3 quarters total this year we've looked good. but the padding around it all points to a team that's improved on a 5-win season and not much else. but it's easy to improve when your starting point is trash.
