Yes but AVB was out for 2 yrs. needs more time, imo. Kent is hanging on the hook. He needs to show up or..... now is the time. I would replace Spargo with Kent for 2W. After that (return Spargo) we see how Jeffy and Kent are going.

I wouldn't mind having a crack at Rich this year. ... but save our pennies for 2019__ I'd like a red hot crack at Lachie Whitfield... he is the one we all want. Forget Gaff. Spend Spend Spend on Lachie.

Items we all use everyday, without realising it contains palm oil,,, at the expence of our Worlds Carbon Consuming Forests of Sth-East Asia and Indonesia. This surely brings Kent in? And may keep Spargo in. I'd rather Hannan and Kent in, for Spargo and Melk's. He's only played 3 matches, and then a bye last week, following near to 2Yrs away from playing anything at all. This weeks game is the least risky for us,,, for him to return,,, but I'd rather he plays at least another week at VFL level, after last weeks bye round. The next Rnd 21 is against the Swans, also in Melbourne. Then following is a trip to Perth, followed by a Last Rnd home game against the Giants. I'm sure his bone stress would be behind him now, but the risk of soft tissue issues must be real for him. I reckon the Swans game at the 'G' might be the best bet for him. I think he really would need another Full-game run, before coming back in.

This I'm OK with. But Weide stays where he is. Weide will be a better player than all the names you've listed in this post. Accepting possibly Lynch. Moore's the unknown quantity. anything, is possible. .... but bigman aggression is a keeper, by any name. in any form.

Greg Parke was the great white hope, for rednblue bluebygone days. What, better than Trevor Barker? Not many better than him.

That's why the E'd & the Pies are fighting 'feather and claw' to keep him, Not. Weide is a keeper. It's said that young Moore wants the 'inner Sydney', lifestyle. and a gig on dancing with the stars, no less.

OH! try telling that to Beamer ! -
I'd prefer him take more marks per game, than worry too much about tackling... but love his chasing intensity. He's like a T-Rex after a meal.

I'm certainly glad he's got his trademark beard back again. Some things are just important in Footy. Plugger and intimidation. Flower and his artistry. The Whizz fro his exhilaration and surprises. The Ox for his amazing talents and his heart. And now Maxy for his beard and sportsmanship, and one day for his dominance ?

No probs DJ. I just learnt how to do this comparison with Maxy after your post... so thank you. Maxy has responded to some critique this season,,, and last season, after 2016 critiques... and he is now becoming the best Pro we could have hoped for. I still want him to get better with his number of marks around the ground. A few weeks back he took 11 marks in one game, and he can do this more often, IF he wants-to enough. Maxy could become one of the Best-Ever Ruckmen... IF he put his mind to that. But his years are numbered.

There's something 'Fishy' about a sneaking wandering toe. -

He's Improved his accuracy markedly over the past 9 weeks or so. Re Hitouts to our Mids. He's started picking packing our Mids pockets. ... brilliant of late. Maxy. But where are all the marks around the ground, son ?

In a club that is constantly squeaky clean off field, traditionally more like choir boys: Jones hard at it gutsy leadership is perfect example for a club like ours, just what the doctor ordered for Mfc. We do not want a professor of footy, or politician type nor diplomat leading our club. A straight line is the most direct route to the Object. Love his Pics as well. .

He's (TMc) still got some improvement left in him, I think.

Steven May? Worth a decent crack at him?
