  1. That's why the E'd & the Pies are fighting 'feather and claw' to keep him, Not. Weide is a keeper. It's said that young Moore wants the 'inner Sydney', lifestyle. and a gig on dancing with the stars, no less.
  2. OH! try telling that to Beamer !
  3. I'd prefer him take more marks per game, than worry too much about tackling... but love his chasing intensity. He's like a T-Rex after a meal.
  4. I'm certainly glad he's got his trademark beard back again. Some things are just important in Footy. Plugger and intimidation. Flower and his artistry. The Whizz fro his exhilaration and surprises. The Ox for his amazing talents and his heart. And now Maxy for his beard and sportsmanship, and one day for his dominance ?
  5. No probs DJ. I just learnt how to do this comparison with Maxy after your post... so thank you. Maxy has responded to some critique this season,,, and last season, after 2016 critiques... and he is now becoming the best Pro we could have hoped for. I still want him to get better with his number of marks around the ground. A few weeks back he took 11 marks in one game, and he can do this more often, IF he wants-to enough. Maxy could become one of the Best-Ever Ruckmen... IF he put his mind to that. But his years are numbered.
  6. There's something 'Fishy' about a sneaking wandering toe.
  7. No, don't pickle it. Freeze it !... contact Stephen Dank. He might be able 'to clone', from it ?

  9. He's Improved his accuracy markedly over the past 9 weeks or so. Re Hitouts to our Mids. He's started picking packing our Mids pockets. ... brilliant of late. Maxy. But where are all the marks around the ground, son ?
  10. . This modern-day march to some sort of oblivion. What destruction. This week Orangutans, tomorrow Koala's. Next year Fish. Neckminnit Us. https://secure.avaaz.org/campaign/en/save_the_tapanuli_orangutans_93/?cGLPMab
  11. Brain Fartification.

  13. In a club that is constantly squeaky clean off field, traditionally more like choir boys: Jones hard at it gutsy leadership is perfect example for a club like ours, just what the doctor ordered for Mfc. We do not want a professor of footy, or politician type nor diplomat leading our club. A straight line is the most direct route to the Object. Love his Pics as well. .
  14. He's (TMc) still got some improvement left in him, I think.
  15. Steven May? Worth a decent crack at him?
  16. We could do much worse with Harry in rednblue, just like we have done with Lewy. But I doubt Harry would want a part time playing gig.
  17. infuriating. idiots. The afl do not deserve to be running Our game. They're literally running it into the dirt.
  18. I think you might be right D11. Lewis was great the other night. It'll be interesting to see how he goes in Finals this year. If he raises to the occasion.
  19. Its time to try out Weide with TMc.... and Hogan out, rested. Bring Hogan back into the mid rotations, on his return... He should be high half-forward, and midfielder, IMO. not deep forward.
  20. Spargo I think is a bit tired... and the missed tackles are partly physical strength, and also partly mental tiredness (intensity). I agree we should rest Spargo for 2 matches; I'd play him at Casey on a limited time scenario off interchange for the two weeks. Prior to bringing him back in. Play Kent with both Garlett, but both from interchange. While Spargo recoups. We'll need Spargo in September... a little point guard. Garlett just does not commit to full on tacklers; he doesn't want to get hit hard; and avoids this. JKH is a fully committed player and after replay,,, I was very happy with him. A breath of fresh air. Frost is improving isn't he... but he needs to stay composed in his 'minds-eye', when he has the footy in hand. He has a huge upside if he gain control over his racing mind. (Russel 'rhino' Richards Mk11) agree with your comparison Re jSmith and Hunt. Too soon IMO for AVB. Couple more games with Casey, at least, for me.
  21. actually I was thinking Fine'y far right E'dy far left Robbo in the middle ?
  22. 2 knee reco's already, in under 22 yrs. Lets not put all our eggs in that basket, justin case. We need another stop-gap key back. No saying what will be for Petty, Keilty, or Lever for that mater.
  23. He's a bit similar to Hunt, taking off fast and furious, and leaving their heads back in defence. composure required, bigtime.
