What odds will someone give me for Gil coming out and admitting that they got this one completely wrong? That was just an abomination, wasn't it?

Actually Jamon, Lechuga y Tomate It still works nice one Ethan

I'm hoping that McKenna can overcome the injuries and have a decent crack at Casey. Looks a very likely type to me from his NEAFL highlights.

I don't care, as long as New Balance continues as apparel sponsor I'll be happy. I must have spent about 3 grand on their gear since they came on board.

I'll long remember the goal he kicked in the third quarter at Subi when we moved the ball from deep in the back pocket via a scrambled Frost kick that became a frenetic run and handball transition ending up with Nibbler out-(gut) running his Eagles opponent to get on the end of the loose ball and slot a neat goal in front of the MFCaway supporters....bloody inspirational! I rate him. Will become a weapon if he can remain healthy.

Agreed, that game was a ball tearer! This year's win against West Coast was a beauty as well, my favourite win of the year.

List Analysis Potential v Reality

Well if Richmond can go from a model of inconsistency to premiers in the space of a year or two, why can't we? I have hope that we will see what can happen when a squad of players are all playing their role. Who's going to be our match winner superstar (Dusty) though? -
I'd love Liam Ryan from Subiaco

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BALIC
leucopogon replied to ignition.'s topic in Melbourne Demons
My best mate who's a diehard Docker rates the kid really highly and is spewing to see him leave. Reckon we might have a player on our hands. Also like the one year contract, he'll need to buy in and contribute straight away, no more armchair rides at the Dees! -
Disappointed to see him leave, but more so disappointed that Jack has seemingly cruised through 2017 and obviously didn't uphold his end of the bargain with the coaching group. My prediction is he'll be struggling to get a regular game at Port.

Was about to post exactly this...without the yoga part. Weideman really needs to lift next year. Who are the precise deliverers into the forward line now that Watts is going? Salem, Lewis, Who else??

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever

Sounds like the dog could have been handy in the Chris Dawes household. -
I'm in the keep Watts camp, which is bizarre as I've always been a massive critic. Reliable goal kickers are worth their weight in gold. We need to get the best forward line coach in the business to take his game to the next level.
-
Keep him and play him out of the goal square. Trade in better users of the ball that can deliver it to him on the lead lace out so he can kick us 3 goals a game for the rest of his career. Not to mention his ability to create scoring opportunities for others with his evasiveness in tight and pin point footskills. Keep him around and play to his strength, goals and score assists.

Nice work, sounds about right

Great post! I think umpires should have to front a URP (umpires review panel) for poor decisions with suspensions or public lashings in the town square handed out for those found guilty.

Get rid of the turnover merchants, they're the ones that are killing us. When we turn it over, everyone is out of position and then its a game of draw and give to the opposition all the way to the goal line more often than not.

Yep, I've lost faith completely after this weekend. They'll need to earn it back in 2018, big time. As one of the blokes said earlier, every other team from the wooden spooners up know that we're a soft touch. I expect we're going to struggle to progress, especially if Gawn continues his downward spiral. Let's hope he's not another one season wonder.

Adelaide don't owe us anything. Screw them, screw the Eagles and screw the MFC, they sure as hell screwed my weekend....royally

Just watched the replay...senses dulled with a G&T.... and I have to say Gawn, Brayshaw & Harmes probably had their worst ever games. Take Hogan out with injury and we were essentially playing 4 men short. Max Gawn needs a rocket so badly, not even able to beat Taylor Adams in an aerial contest in the last quarter. His ruck work was ineffectual all day. An embarrassing effort all-round. Kudos to Jordan Lewis, played very well. Our tackling coach needs to be shown the door. Poor tackling and failing to fully capitalise on our dominant start to the 2nd quarter cost us the game... and a spot in the finals. Think I'll grab another G&T. It's 12:22 am so I guess it's Mad Monday!!!

Disagree with the bit in bold. Keep the leaders away, lest they Melbournise our up and coming stars any more than they already have.

i remember the other year when Lynden Dunn placed in the top 5 of the Bluey and gave a heartfelt speech. I thought here's someone who bleeds red and blue. Fast forward a year or two and he's out of the coach's favour and traded away. Yeah, fair to say I couldn't GAF about this either. They're all just cattle. and we're just sheep.
