Goodwin has not done this ever and I don't expect him to start now. Daniher used to do this. Pick his faves when they IMO didn't deserve to be picked. Its a flawed strategy. Give me 22 goers over 22 talented players out of form any day. And what is a 'best player'? That's like saying pick 'Sylvia because he has so much talent'. You would then probably complain because he didn't run, spread or go in hard enough. Goodwin will pick 22 players that can play their roles. Its not that hard.

I wouldnt write Frost off. He has some flaws for sure but he also has lightning pace, can take a mark and is strong. I'd be happy if we was a Lever for Frost swap of course but having both would give us some flexibility.

Just to be sure you are not taking the pizz.... Don't be revisionist. When we did that deal we were desperate to inject some talent into the side immediately. We won 2 games for the year and had Terlich and Matt Jones finish 3rd and 4th in our B&F. It was a dire situation. We did the pick 2 deal and got Tyson and Salem. Tyson's first year was a stand out. Had we taken Kelly and had to wait 4 years for him to blossom who knows where we would be.

If Jack can't get fired up enough to play finals after 9 seasons and 150 games then its pretty obvious where the problem lies. I hope Jack gets a shot as he has skills we need. But Goody has been firm and I have to say I like what he is doing - if you don't want to demonstrate intensity and desire there isn't a spot for you.

De-platforming , which is what you suggested, is akin to shutting down dissenting views. It's what the totalitarians do when they don't like the views of others. Or im simpler terms, "you can have an AFL press pass if you toe the AFL line and write what we like". You can't really be advocating for that?

Clearly you aren't happy to hear others opinions and given your family history I am even more shocked to hear that you want to curtail people's right to speak. Thats the thing about free speech, it also means having to listen to things you don't want to. Fight bad information with better information or better ideas. I don't believe in censoring anyone's views or de-platforming people. Particularly the AFL that would have to be one of the worst offenders for shutting down views they don't like. Speak to Dale Lewis about the AFL and his views on drugs. Speak to Matt Rendell and the his views on the AFL silencing him. Look at the Essendon drug saga and the shady stories from both the EFC and the AFL. I wouldn't trust the AFL in a world of Sundays to determine what stories are true or not. But you are.
