  1. Word here at Werribee is that both Jack Fitzpatrick and James Strauss are booked in for operations and we won't be seeing either of them again this year. In Fitzpatrick's case, I believe it's the shoulder but that's unconfirmed. Sam Blease was a no show as well today.

Matt Fieldsend playing a great game for the Scorpions.
  3. Scrappy game here. Casey coasting as Miller marks 35 metres out from goal and kicks his fifth. 45 point lead.
  4. Matty Bate kicks two goals within a minute and its back to a 33 point lead. Bate now has four goals and Miller has just booted his fourth. Make that 39 points.

  17. At half time, Werribee held a seven goal lead. Since then things have gotten worse.
  18. Has been helping out the club on match days and it's been reported that he's eager to get back into the swing of things and play again next year.
  19. A note on the finals which start next weekend: The VFL will announce the dates and venues for the first week of the finals tonight. At this stage, there's a chance that Casey will be playing it's qualifying final against North Ballarat in Ballarat. The game will probably not be televised as it seems the ABC will be doing the two elimination finals next weekend.

  24. As I mentioned. Trainers were working the hamstrings. I think he spent the quarter on the bench so he could have felt a bit sore and be taking a precaution or he might have hurt it again. Don't know.
