  1. Dunn sharks the ball for a goal to answer the Pies' first. Casey leads by 16 points.
  2. Two goals to Cook who has been impressive early - one from a mark and the second from a snap.
  3. First blood to Lynden Dunn but the Pies, with the wind, doing most of the attacking - 1.0.6 to 0.3.3.
  4. It's a beautiful day out at Casey Fields for the Scorpions' big pink ribbon day promoting awareness for breast cancer. Big crowd considering the fact that the game is being televised and nothing could be better than to knock off the Magpies in the prelude to Queens Birthday. Casey reserves went down by 10 points to top four team Werribee Tigers in the Reserves after leading all day. 7. Bad news out of Casey tonight about inspirational club skipper Kyle Matthews who has had further scans on his injured leg. The injury was incurred a few weeks ago and it was thought he would be back in one or two weeks. Initial scans showed all clear but the latest scans have confirmed that he has a fractured fibula and will miss up to 8 weeks (subject to getting his specialist's opinion. Hopefully Kyle will make a speedy recovery and we will still see him in action for the Scorpions.
