Everything posted by KC from Casey

  1. Neville Jetta who has been outstanding kicks a long goal on the run.
  2. Fev slots two goals to bring the lead out to 8 goals.
  3. First goal of the final term to Danny Nicolls on the run and the Tigers drop their heads a little.
  4. Three Quarter Time Casey 13.9.87 Werribee 7.8.50
  5. Fev at the back of a pack runs in for his fourth.
  6. Fevola kicks his third followed by a goal from Max Gawn after receiving a 50m penalty. The lead has gone out to 41 points.
  7. Rohan is right in the game and making a good comeback after such a long time out. I'm not sure whether he will have enough run in his legs to get back into the Melbourne team before the season's out but it's good to see him back.
  8. Half Time Casey 10.4.64 to Werribee 4.7.31 The team is combining well and playing a strong brand of team football. They have this well in control and every Demon is performing. They should go on to win comfortably.
  9. Fev kicks his second after a couple of Werribee goals. Close to half time with the Scorpions in control.
  10. Nice grab from Bate for his second and the lead is almost 7 goals.
  11. Rian McGough goals and it's 7.3.45 to 1.4.10.
  12. A beautiful Fevola shepherd allows Fitzpatrick to kick a great running goal.
  13. Quarter Time Casey Scorpions 5.0.30 to Werribee 1.3.9 Goals Lawrence 2 Bate Fevola Pannoza Matthew Bate, Neville Jetta and Kelvin Lawrence have all been very good. Bater kicked a nice, long goal just before the break to cap off an excellent quarter for the Scorpions.
  14. I didn't see a great deal of the game and, as I mentioned above, I think he might not have played at all today as he was seen in civvies at the end of the game. He's a young bloke who's had a tough transition from Under 18s to senior level and he did show some good form earlier in the season. Will improve with off season gym work and a good preseason.
  15. Goals to Fevola and Lawrence give Casey the edge by 11 points. And another to Kelvin Lawrence who has started off like a house on fire.
  16. Panozza kicks Casey's first but they trail by a point.
  17. The Casey Seniors have come out for a bit of a pre match run. Of the MFC emergencies, I see Neville Jetra and Dan Nicholson but not Lynden Dunn.
  18. Casey Ressies score another easy win and seem certain to finish in 3rd place and make the finals for the first time in years. Casey Scorpions 3.2.20 7.3.45 9.7.61 13.13.91 Werribee Tigers 3.1.19 3.3.21 5.6.36 7.6.48 Goals Casey Scorpions Petropoulos 3 Bell Purves Waite 2 Purves 2 Baumgartner Matthews Riseley Weekes Werribee Tigers Bryce Larsen 2 Risol Simpson Still Best Casey Scorpions Bolton Bell Johnston Matthews Pollard Petropoulos Werribee Tigers Moloney Sullivan Caldow Still Robbins James I couldn't see Aussie out there so the story about the ankle injury might be right. I believe Lucas Cook might not have played at all - someone just said they saw him in civvies just as the game ended.

  21. No. Looked more like Barb from Carlton but with a mo.
  22. Game over and a well deserved 15 point win to Coburg. Very disappointing from the Scorpions today buy they did lose a few players before the game and Campbell's injury was particularly costly. 23. Game petering out as Coburg holds a 16 point lead.
  24. Fev gets his 6th and gives the Scorps a faint hope.
