How good are Radiohead? Karma Police is one of the few songs I can still remember how to play on guitar. Awesome tune. I've got a friend in Japan with a Led Zeppelin cover band, Duesenberg. I can't say that I've ever heard them live but their original on youtube ain't too bad. I've posted a Stone Temple Pilots video before, but what can I say, they're fricken awesome. I've recently been trying to get out of the habit of being a fat bastard and STP have got me through a few tough sessions. The first song is from their album Tiny Music. It's probably a fairly underrated album, mainly due to Scott Weiland's drug issues at the time which restricted them from being able to properly promote/tour the album. This song was also the encore to their Melbourne concert last year. The second song is from their Purple album. The album is probably best know for the song Interstate Love Song. It's got some great guest appearances, David Crosby, Jerry Garcia and Neil Young to name a few. Military Madness is right up there as one of my favourite songs. Here's one from Herbie Hancock. I've only just started listening to a few of his tunes on Youtube, but I think I may have to get my hands on one or two of his albums. I was lucky enough to see Roger Waters The Wall in concert over the weekend. And wow, what a show it was. I think it really was a golden age of music, the likes of which I don't think we'll ever see again. In our current iTunes climate we are seeing a the demise of albums, so it is hard to imagine someone producing an album so memorable, let alone a concept double album such as The Wall. For anyone that went, or is interested, here's an article on how much work went into the concert and some of the technology and attention to detail went into the show. Ha. Funniest thing I've heard in ages! This is a remix of Skrillex's First of the Year (Equinox) and Katy Perry's ET. I don't mind a bit of Skrillex (I can't get enough of ), the original is pretty good, but I think this is a better version. I don't know if it's an improvement on Katy Perry's song as I can't remember ever hearing it.So apologies in advance, it's not rock, it's dubstep, it's Skrillex, it's Katy Perry, and to top it all off it's not even a video. Great tune. That one's going straight to the pool room. Yeah, I've only just started listening to Roy Budd. But that song struck a chord (boom boom) the instant I heard it. Clever guy.

Was I reading somewhere that they where hitting our shores for a new tour? Would be worth seeing. On principle I dislike a lot of RnB/Rap. It seems to be all egos and disrepectin'. Lupe Fiasco is one of the exceptions in this genre. Seems to have a real social conscience. But there is no denying Kanye West's ability to produce a great tune. I really like some of his earlier stuff. Jack Jack 2.5 I've been following a bit of NBA of late. NBA and this tune seem to go hand in hand.
