  1. Jones equal third with Lewis. Has to be Hibberd and Clarry for top 2.
  2. If Lewis is equal third, then i'd be mightily [censored] off that i wasn't deemed to be runner up if i was Nev. Had a much better year than Lewis did.
  3. JW has taken the dessert trays as hostage, won't give them out unless he stays.
  4. i reckon it's completely appropriate. The players' lack of effort in the final stages of the year is being equally met by the clubs lack of effort in good entertainment. Unfortunately, it's the members that pay the price again.
  5. If Hoges was to leave, i'd be wanting Lynch from GC as his replacement, Schache doesn't even come close to adequate compensation.
  6. stream is working fine for me. Just went to the melbournefc.com.au website and clicked on the stream
  7. Maybe something along the lines of Chocco Williams. "Simon Goodwin and Josh Mahoney..........you're wrong"
  8. FIFA has nothing on the AFL when it comes to corruption.
  9. With Watts' departure, it places even more importance on Weideman becoming the player the FD and all of us hoped he could be when we drafted him. This could spectacularly fail on 2 fronts if Weid becomes a bust (lose skill and height in the forward half).
  10. Is this the one SONS? http://www.heraldsun.com.au/leader/localfooty/he-went-later-than-expected-in-the-draft-but-harley-balic-has-joined-fremantle-dockers/news-story/db1ad59e780a05caf770a6736f188c53
  11. don't worry about it rpfc, DaveyDee has absolutely no idea what has happened to it
  12. No. If people are frustrated with Watts' inconsistency, i reckon they'd be ropeable with bringing in Rohan.
  13. Jack's never been a fan of tough love. He loved his time with Roosy because he was mollycoddled. The moment Roos took his exit, Watts throws it in by turning up to pre-season in poor shape. How's that for professional SONS?
  14. Effectively Watts, pick 10 and 27 for Lever. That is way too much, unless we get something decent back as well.
  15. I see this situation as more of a "pity we didn't have these standards sooner". 1 - Jack Watts may not have been made the scapegoat as a result 2 - We wouldn't have lost to the filth, costing us a place in the finals I hope the standards which are now seeming to be placed on the playing group are likewise placed on the coaching group as well. I want everyone held to account.
  16. For all of Watts' talent, he doesn't influence games anywhere near as much as he should. Clearly our FD have had enough and their strong stance is a clear message sent to the rest of the playing group as well, 'talent alone is not good enough, you need to perform'. We bemoan the lack of leadership within the footy group, yet when the FD start expecting higher standards with a ruthless aggression, we cry foul? Clearly some on here would rather wallow in mediocrity for a little longer. If Jack Watts being pushed out is a result of the team finally being held to account for their inconsistent performances, then that's fine by me. It's about time the players' are fully held responsible for their actions.
  17. for those of us less tech savvy, any chance of a link to the Mahoney interview?
  18. Lose OMAC you run the risk of losing TMAC, big call.
