Brodie Kemp (drafted by Carlton)
Agree Swooper, he would be a genuine utility with explosive pace and good overhead skills. He'd be well worth the wait.

Splitting Draft Pick 3
We'd risk missing out on that player if we do that, Oli. I say stay with 8 and be certain of drafting said player. Bird in the hand and all.

Jack Martin
And i still want to play for the MFC, but at least i've accepted that it just isn't meant to be

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Imagine how quick he'll be without having to deal with all the drag caused by that bun of his!

What to do with what is now Pick 74?
I'm hoping we use it to upgrade Lockhart onto the main list.
-
Lockhart small forward solution?
Lockhart will go up at least another level or 2 with a full AFL pre-season and AFL experience under his belt.

Brodie Kemp (drafted by Carlton)
Explosive and can take an overhead grab. Wouldn't be too displeased even if we took him at 3.

2019 AFL National Draft Thread
Apparently JT has an absolute hard on for Weightman, so i reckon you could just about lock him in at pick 8.

Brodie Kemp (drafted by Carlton)
Too bloody right!

Are we plotting a late heist?
given that Rowell and Anderson aren't in any academy (let alone ours), no. Hypothetically, if GC selected a player at pick 1 who was in our NGA, then we would have the right to match that bid.
-
How do you rate our trade period?
As far as Langdon and Tomlinson goes, good (especially Langdon). As for the picks, well that's to be played out in the next couple of years.

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
Maybe we're hoping for Weightman to come in and put through a lazy 50+ goals next year? So long as he stays down and is front and centre, with all the high balls coming in, he'd be a fair chance too!

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Agree that we've done well, happy we held our nerve and didn't swap #3 with GWS.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
ummm, we always had pick 3 DD. Agree with the other 3 though.

Josh Jenkins
It's so cold down at the Cattery, he's gonna go from not leaving the Adelaide Oval goal square to not leaving the Cats change rooms!

Are we plotting a late heist?
Come in @Yokozuna
-
Are we plotting a late heist?
Only difference is now they have to use up points from their next picks (as opposed to a whole bunch of late picks).
-
Are we plotting a late heist?
Looking forward to the end of this calamity and seeing who @Yokozuna was referring to - r.e. key forward.

Splitting Draft Pick 3
I'd rather promote Jay Lockhart, Fes. He was good last year with a limited AFL pre-season.
-
Splitting Draft Pick 3
Exactly, why help out GWS this year on the basis of getting a somewhat lowly first round pick next year?

Joe Daniher
WTF are you doing having a scum mate?!?!?!

OMac on Overcoming Challenges
not intelligence dimmy, speed of his decision making and subsequent execution. He's about as slow and lackadaisical as Garland was (he too was a very intelligent fella).
