  1. Said it before and I’ll say it again, Gawn is not captain material
  2. Generally it’s not the ones they pay, but the ones they don’t. They are very inconsistent with their decisions.
  3. Ross Lyon is a list destroyer. Picks his favourites and gets the best out of them, but cannot develop any up and coming players to save himself. Would love him to go to the Filth.
  4. 5 days until the game is played, so if the filth players’ build it up they will be mentally drained. If they love him so much, why have they played so poorly for him. Should’ve been doing it for him the entire time. No doubt they’ll play more aggressive, we’ll just get them on the counter (it’s how we split open the Lions in the 2nd half). If our boys turn up to play, we bank the 4 points.
  5. Admittedly I am not Goody’s biggest fan, nor will I think him to be the ‘right’ coach until he wins the thing, however, watching TMAC on the footy show yesterday, he said that for all the criticism he has faced over the last 2 years being head coach, he should also therefore equally be receiving the plaudits from the naysayers (including myself) for how the team is travelling this year. I cannot disagree with this. Do I think he deserves a contract extension? Ask me again in 4 months time. If we achieve the ultimate, forget the contract, cos he’d deserve instant immortality. Long ways to go yet though.
  6. Number is the easy part. Has to be Kossies 36
  7. Lockdowns are not the answer, vaccinations are. Unfortunately with the shambolic roll out of the vaccines, we are currently between a rock and a hard place.o
  8. I reckon a majority of Victorians are starting to really struggle with covid fatigue. As a casual I am stood down but still lucky enough to have a job, but this lockdown I have found I am starting to really miss it and its sense of drive and purpose it gives me. Having nothing to do really is quite boring, and for many I fear it will be too much to bare. Lucky enough our Dees are giving us all some much needed hope and inspiration to just keep going. I’d be mightily [censored] if footy is taken away from us in Victoria for much longer (I dread the thought of losing finals to the other states again). Finals in Melbourne spells the beginning of Spring, of hope and re-birth. Why is it that Victoria and those in charge simply have NFI when it comes to handling this virus? Someone coughs and we seem to go back into lockdown. Every other state has done significantly better in managing this thing than us. The bureaucrats are slowly killing this state, bleeding it dry with death by a thousand cuts. And now I hear Dan is primping himself up, coming back to save us all. FMD. Bloody glad the Tiggies ripped the heart out of Dans Druggies. He’s as smug and arrogant as the rest of their supporters. Good riddance to him, his club and this [censored] virus.
  9. I’m firmly of the belief that the loss to the Crows re-focussed our attention in a huge way. Games prior to that and we were just doing what needed to be done and never playing our best football. Sure against the Dogs and Lions we didn’t play at our best the entire game, but we were forced to play our best to win. 1st quarter against WBD and 2nd half against Lions. I think the past 2 weeks has seen a shift from the playing group wanting to believe and hoping, to truly believing we are going somewhere. Long way to go, but we still have a couple of gears to go up to. We are not red-lining like we were during the backend of 2018.
  10. Sams saving grace is that there is no vfl being played atm.
  11. Well us Melburnians can’t do anything else can we. Covid you pr!ck.
  12. Journos asking him if Zorko is in trouble. FMD. What is he going to say? “Oh he’s gone definitely”
  13. @DemonOX No doubt a tough time for you and your family, but hope you got to feel at least some moments of joy and happiness tonight DOX. Your mother will be smiling down on you and your family tonight and forever.
  14. That’d be right. He’ll kick it too
  15. Misses straight in front, kicks one on the angle
  16. Fitness will be telling here
  17. Coz they are all sucking from the lions teet. The amount of whinging to the umpires from the Lion players’ makes Geelong’s look second rate.
  18. Done SFA all night. Will he give us the lead.
  19. A bit harsh litd, he just gave TMAC another hi-5
  20. That’s the difference between Langdon and Hunt right there
  21. Zorko trying to pull his usual bs faux tough guy crap
  22. Spotted Weid’s. Gave a high 5 to TMAC, his best play all night.
  23. Midfield being given an absolute bath. Entry forward is very poor. It’s on the midfield to get us going. Hard to continually start our attacks from the back line.
  24. Granted, delivery to the forward line has been ordinary, but he is never near where it is. A flower has more presence. I’ve noticed Pickett, Spargo and LJ, but not even sure if Weid is on the ground. At least BB knows where to lead.
