The MCG and Docklands use eclipse stabilised turf, so wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what we’re going for. Which means we could be training back at Gosch’s very soon. TifTuf is a type of hybrid Bermuda (couch), that is harder wearing and requires less watering than standard couch. Kikuyu is probably the most aggressive growing grass type there is (good for self repairing from wear). These 2 are recommended as having a soil base (generally a sandy loam), zoysias are recommended as having a pure sand base and fescues can establish in that type of subsoil as well. Just a bit of a hobby of mine, I’m by no means an expert on the matter.

Please excuse my ignorance, but going by the MFC website it says that “at this stage all 3 players will have completed their isolation period prior to playing st. kilda”. So does this mean that at the moment they are considered close contacts only?
