Grundy's price went down by 25% today
Think on it...you'll realise why
Cox and Cameron played well??

Poor Tmac. He won't be able to start his pre-season for a while now.

My brother was over at Maxy's place on monday. He mentioned how banged up the boys were come the Friday night. Obviously Trac's leg, Fritta's knee was no good & Max's groins were cooked.
He said he felt OK 1st Qtr, but as the game went on, they progressively got worse & worse (clearly noticeable by his performance thereafter).
He also said they really needed to win the QF to get the week off.
Shouldn't have taken injured players into the Lions game then.

I am so happy for a team that knocked us out of the finals, to know that they are getting the number 1 kid in the draft, while getting to a PF and are also picking up another father /son in Fletcher.
Some are saying Ashcroft could have a Nick Daicos like impact in his first season.
At least it won't be due to an inconsistent academy program. Father sons are just luck of the draw I guess. (Hopefully we'll get some luck over the coming years with Nathan Brown's and Jeff White's sons...)

Wonder how bad Adam's injury is
About as bad as it sounds to rip your groin off the bone

No-ones mentioned Joel Smith.
After Milkshake's shocker could he replace him in the 22 to crash a few packs and create some opportunities for Pickett etc?

Really glad for May to be finally getting the recognition. Could have been 3AAs for him as he was pretty bloody good in 2021 as well from memory.
I'm actually surprised he made it. Had a good year but not as good as last year. Was injured in the first quarter against the Dockers, missed the next two games and then took a few games to get back in the groove after his dust-up.

The reason it's such a farce is because you can be born in an African refugee camp, moved to Australia not knowing anything about Aussie Rules (or anything about Australia for that matter) or you can be born to Australian parents with strong football backgrounds who were temporarily living overseas and be equally eligible.
To exclude kids born o/s when their parents were temporarily there I don't know why they don't make the o/s criteria that you or one of your parents have to have also grown up speaking a language other than English. Might get a few dodgy claims but it's not like the system is fair at the moment...

I see that Dean Kent is an inclusion for St Kilda in what will be his 100th game.
Genuinely forgot that he was still on a senior list. I wonder if the 100th is a farewell gesture.
Yeah he's out of contract which surely won't get renewed. Hope he gets a farewell game.

Yeah Clarko's haul of 4 flags is obviously impressive but he did hit the jackpot with Buddy, Roughhead and Lewis in the one draft - not sure you could say Bombers or Kangas are in the same position.

No more Gus & Gawny if it happens.
This is the worst part!

Not that this will happen but hypothetically do we have the realistic salary cap to keep Dogga and Brayshaw without losing someone else good?
(Just want to make myself feel better that we would have lost someone anyway!)

Yeah, no.
Luke is a former pick 3 whose value has only gone up.
His value has gone up but clubs don't get full value when they lose out of contract players.
E.g Cerra was drafted at Pick 5 but Freo only got a pick 6 and future third for him. There will be lots of other examples.
-
Gawny's recovered well.
Tmac hasn't budged.

Just on only 10% being under the age of 30 is a damning statistic.
We've got some young supporters but they're on other sites like BigFooty, Facebook and AFL Reddit.

The Northern Kangaroos. Surely. Play 6 games in NT and 5 in Vic.
If North aren't keen on Tassie they're going to be even less excited about NT...

I reckon Gawn played hurt in the second half. Hardly anytime on ball and a lot of the last quarter on the pine. Was riding the bike a bit too. Might be a good time to let him sit one out. He's got a big few weeks coming up.
Yeah he was getting physio treatment on his neck during the game
