  1. Sitting behind Bail's kick to Pettard, rnd 2, last quarter. Jumping up thinking that we'd won. A very, very brief moment - but by an absolutely street the best moment of 2010.
  2. You are bang on the money, dee destructrion. I went there last night with my two boys and would have bought merchadice had it been (a) easiuer to actually look at and (B) there had been any stock of stuff for kids. It strikes me as the perfect opportunity to ahve kids get a jumper and then get players to sign it. Probably worth letting the club know.
  3. IS there an emoticon that looks like a stifled snigger?
  4. I agree in the main, old55, but I would add that I'd be unwilling to draft out of pick 12 for Hale under any circumstances. With so much talent off-limits with these drafts, I think that getting as big a shot at top-end is worth a lot. Depriving other strugglers is also worth doing.
  5. Bhaha quality
  6. Wayne, I thought that morton was the only bloke that looied to create run off halfback in the first quarter when we looked stagnant. Bate needs a good hard look at a trade table. Wonna would have been more use selling pies today. I think that we did well given how poor our hands were around the contest and how often we were out thought or out positioned at stop-plays.
  7. Much appreciated, Bhima.
  8. Great stuff Bhima. One question: did you notice Dunn? He was seen leaving the ground on crutches last week...
  9. ucanchoose and demon josh - that is the reason that I don't the Dees live in front of my three year old.
  10. Jurrah to hurt his shoulder in an early clash that the other players do nothing about...and posters to complain that we rushed him back.
  11. I really struggle with the whole barry thing. In the school yard, if some [censored] is smacking you in the kidneys and then knees you as you do your shoelaces up, you are allowed to snot them. Plain, simple. I do not understand why barry has to cop this kind of sniping garbage without any protection but if he stands up for himself, the emergency umpire is all over him. Thompson is a niggler and effectively lacks to guts to be a sniper. That's a pretty low low sort of player really. He is lucky that berry didn't just crush his face. I'd have been fine if we'd all heard about him having a cruched cheekbone.
  12. My heart can only take so much of this sort of thing.
  13. Um Jaded, wasn't that last year?
  14. I thought it was a prerequisite!
  15. Red, I wonder if Rivers would be better on hahn and frawley used on the resting ruckman that eade often uses.
  16. My hopes have been so categorically razed in the past that I just gotta, Jaded.
  17. What has confused me is the form of the mids. Junior, beamer and jones have, IMO, never played this well and NEVER played this well all at the same time. Jordie is a revelation and scully and trenners are just quietly good. The running defence is reliable: Bruce, macdonald and grimes all run hard, link well, and can outmark opponents regularly. When we get that overlap run going, we look fantastic and we have not been able to do it for more than moments over the last 3 years. Who would have thought that so many pennies would drop simultaneously?
  18. Thank you robbieF!
  19. I'd need to watch the tape to be sure, but my feel from the ground lat night was the bruce played a ripper. HArd, determined, courageous, fantastic.
  20. you are going to need to put that post on fortnightly repeat, jaded.
  21. OMG! It's like you can see into the future... spooky
  22. Redleg, could you explain that one line? I don't get it...at all. Miller hasn't shown much in the ruck or forward. How would it have made the slightest difference?
