  1. Mitch Gent if you don't mind! Big effort - well done young man. Great stuff KC.
  2. Bob, why are you doing this? Hardnut started the year with an anti-Neeld, ant-Craig, pro-Sanderson position and has not changed it. Despite a total failure of the logic in his arguments, despite reason, despite a consensual reality. Why ask? He doesn't know the answer. You know he doesn't. I know you know he doesn't. He probably does not know that he doesn't know. If he becomes aware he'll resort to empty rhetoric. He'll say anything -like "lists are by-and-large all equal" - to defend the indefensible. Why?
  3. Thanks to everyone for making the move work!
  4. This is just garbage of the highest order. Bailey and prendergast led us into a canyon of empty despair. Not one player is better for Bailey's "development coaching" and prendergast has failed specacularly to get us a midfield with any reliable talent. To now blame neeld is just breathtakingly obtuse. We have the worst midfield in the AFL. WE had the worst midfield 5 years ago and nothing has changed. Our mids get slaughtered by everyone but you blame the current coach. As if class, and talent doesn't matter. As if age and experience doesn't matter. "All lists are equal". That is an effective summary of your footy acumen in one fell swoop. Amazing. Just amazing.
  5. My hope is that wellingham gets 6-8. He'll get 2 or 3 at worst. Hell, I would not be surprised if he gets none.
  6. RR, I think you undervalue what he does and how well he does it. Trengove, Moloney and magner will be pushed out before Jordie.
  7. Yep, obvious. That's why so many groups (us, rebels, victory etc etc) got involved... oh wait!
  8. i that the semi-final we lost to adelaide was the closest I ever saw him get.
  9. Yep, you can judge an entire career based on one day... Honestly. If my 5 year old came up with this stuff, I'd be disappointed.
  10. Why ask rhetorical questions?
  11. Here's a thought...try not bitching in every thread you touch. Anyone who has read this site gets your opinion. It has not developed since you began. You do nothing other than state the same repetitive...product...in post after post. Just PM WYL. No-one else needs to see this.
  12. That says everything about your footy brain and nothing about Cale. Not bad for a one liner. Who knows what you could do if you REALLY thought about it?
  13. I saw that DA. I asked my brother how many hands maxy has 'cause I saw only one in the air... He and Harry are great when they are not under pressure, can shepard off the ball, hit blokes from behind or double-team opponents.
  14. My father taught my the saying that "B-S baffles brains". Hardnut is trying it on. He does not know what Neeld's philosophy is, or what is game plan will look like in 6-12 months, or what he might do for player development etc. so Hardnut makes it up. By keeping it vague he can never be wrong because he never has to state anythign or defend anything. It's tiresome and deserves to be played out elsewhere.
  15. Is it a simpler game plan or are they finally taking to the structures better and putting in a greater effort. I'm not sure how you tease the two apart.
  16. I don't mind arguments about game plan and all that, but god, it is just a bad joke atm. Once we are actually trying, then Hardnut can argue about the rest. As if letting the players free meant that they put in! Self-serving distortions of really annoy me.
  17. What absolute self-serving rubbish. Ignore all evidence to the contrary and decide that they listened to you. How important you must be. That's it - the players were allowed to play rather than finally deciding as a group to put in. Yep. That's it.
  18. I'm going with Junior. I've got a small DVD player for him (he's five) for when he gets bored. If it gets bad, I might start watching it. Though I'm sure sure that swearing while I watch Happy Feet, sitting at the MCG and freezing my bum off is terribly sane...
  19. I thought that the article was pretty poor. Big on 'feelings', low on critical thinking.
  20. He doesn't change his mind, Old dee. He makes absolute statements based on no analysis. He has no idea why he is right when he is right or why he is wrong when he is wrong. If you reckon that is an acceptable way for a journo (what a joke!) to behave, well and good. I hold somewhat higher standards.

  22. Is this the same David King who came out before the season and spoke about how he loved what he was seeing at Melbourne? This bloke has 0 idea. He spoke about how coaches need to praise players , how coaches need to be hard on players, how bailey has been too soft and how neeld has been too hard. If you listen to the material than comes out of his mouth you soon stop listening to the material that comes out of his mouth.
  23. I didn't see that game - don't have foxtel. However, if we are winning the ball and moving it, we'll be better. Don't forget richmond were woeful until they found a midfield.
