Reply from the club suggests that the Trident area is only for trident members, and that people with guests have other seats that they can use. This should work well, as there should be enough space for all comers. If you have guests, take them to the appropriate area. The club need to enforce this better.

I see this as the week for player management. We have Frost, Hannan and Fritsch all fresh and ready to come into the team (depending how Bugg pulled up after the corky last weekend, him too). Jordan Lewis is a possible starter as well. Based on the really short break, and the fact we ran out of gas on Tuesday, I would suggest that there will be a number of changes to get a fit and non-fatigued team onto the park. I could see Smith also getting a run as a forward to replace Kent if Smith's Hammy was only 'tight' and not injured. We may have a few players that need the break - Nibbler for his marathon running, Bernie maybe for age. I think Stretch gets another go even though he had a mare on Tuesday. Where else are we going to get outside run? I am unconvinced re Garlett. But he will probably be well rested after his light training run on Tuesday night so should have no problems getting up. I am also unsure if we take Pedo in. perhaps we look for Pedo and Weids as F50 targets, and Hulk further up a CHF and wing?

Nope, Saty. Muppets because of their superior attitude and direct comment/ attack on the demon supporters around them. Happy to have barracking for what is happening on the field, but the holier than thou attitude and continuous comment and sniping at Dees supporters for the whole game was too much. no one has answered the question how they got there and ‘demanded’ those seats in the first place...

As a trident member, I was pizzed off that in the seat I pay squillions for I was surrounded by tigers nuftis. Superior, idiotic, painful. They spent their time taunting the Melbourne faithful, commenting loudly on us (rather than the game) and made my experience significantly worse than just watching the loss. how is it that these [censored] eating sister [censored] [censored] faces get access to our seats? If I wanted to sit with them, I would go to a Narc anon meeting. can anyone fill me in on how this works?

I saw the footage where Jones was crunched. Max tapped it perfectly to Jones, who looked like the best free option. The Richmond player let it be so, and as the ball touched Jones’ fingertips, he was smashed by the Richmond [censored] approaching him at full speed. Excellent setup by the Tigers, and at the same time Maxy did nothing wrong. The ball spilled and Nate was crunched. i wonder if we play better against teams where the ruck outcome is not so predictable? We have to turn Max’s dominance into clearance dominance, and at the moment we are getting thrashed in clearances. (note: this one of many issues, not the only one)

His fend offs ended in rubbish disposals. He may be strong, but I thought we curbed him fairly well.

Ok. I have taken a few moments to calm down (the smug Tigers whankers sitting behind me sent the old blood pressure through the roof...). It was a full pressure game, Tigers played 4 quarters of it. Under pressure, we fumbled, rushed, and had no tempo. The first quarter we went helter skelter, and a little bit of poise could have seen us well in front. We corrected our defense at 1/2 time, and ran a deeper ‘wall’ across half back. This significantly improved our ability to rebound. A huge issue is we love to play contested ball - but we are hopeless at scoring from stoppages in our 50, and leak too many from stoppages in the D50. Seems like so much hard work ends up being wasted. third quarter was a cracker. Pressure ramped up, and both teams going hard. We gave up a couple of easy goals and turned our efforts into nothing. WE have a lot of issues. 3 goals in 5 quarters is pathetic. We rely on halving the centre contest and winning the contested ball. Apart from the third, we were shredded at clearances. Max might win the taps, but when the tigers stream forward out fo the middle, it is a difficult game to win. Weids gets a pass mark. The list of those who do not is too long for me to bother. The big problem is no one really put their hand up at Casey (except Pedo, but do we need another tall?) The problem is not the game plan, or the personnel. It is the game plan using this group of personnel. Something has to give with either of these variables. We really need big wins over the next 4 to get our season back on track.

I have listened to Goody. I don’t trust them- he told me not to. i will get along and barrack hard (no anti social cuss words) and drink beer. i will be aggrieved if they don’t put in a huge effort, regardless of outcome. That would be a ‘fail’ in my book. looking for the inclusions to show something.

I thought he was development coach, not a line coach? Can probably do better work face to face with the players from the bench, rather than over the phone from upstairs. is there a story here? Don’t know. Need more than guesses or hearsay to know...

I even forgot about Tyson! He is more of a certainty if he is over his illness than the others...

I could see Hunt replacing frost, Stretch replacing Lewis, and T smith replacing Bugg. We only then need one further change and the Weid is included as well. Richmond don't have a tall match-up for Frost, and Omac should take Whiner Reiwoldt. There is a huge list of players that could be considered to come out based on last week's shenannigans to make way for Weid. Might even be someone like Wagner.

I liked when Hannan played wing - link man, going forward as needed. Perhaps this is a role for him to develop into?

This shows the underlying problem at Casey and Melbourne. We clog up our forward line - but are hopeless at getting it to a free to a player for a shot. We leave lots of space over the back - but dont run both ways or have the legspeed to manage. There are some serious issues with the gameplan and the personnel asked to play it at both levels. Manic pressure by hawks last week, Tigers 2nds this week brought it all undone. Clog it up in our forward line and run the other way fast and you cut the demons open. Seems like an easy game plan to beat. Until we get personnel that can find the loose man outside, Have players that are fast enough the other way, and we can sustain intense pressure, we have (and will have) plenty of problems.
