  1. These are very VERY good. They look like footy jumpers, not a tourist singlet !! I much prefer the Red to the White. Red emanates much more power as a look.
  2. Ive never been to Pattay ( nor likely to ) . Patong Beach was crass enough. Everything thats cheap nasty and tourist trashy !! I can imagine shops along the front selling this sort of rubbish !!
  3. yep the more I look at that 2017 clash fail it reminds me of Patong Beach
  4. Holy F$#@ Batman.... Someone been leaving bomber kitbags around ??
  5. Who the f... ever knows what Stanks is ever really on about. Denis should be his advocate !!
  6. The Afl have been doing a lot of creative journalism of late. They're trying to reposition the goalposts, again.
  7. Funny choice of words " feel like there was agreement with ASADA " Either there IS or its imagined ? Must be the "vibe"
  8. Very few things tug at a supporters heart as much as the JUMPER !! It's not immaterial (npi) to how we perceive the club.
  9. As much as its distasteful to suggest, but our club is talking shlt !! All the whiles evading the question. Poor form Mfc ...poor.:(
  10. rjay..Ive not seen him quoted as such anywhere...Not saying he hasn't I just havent seen it yet here the AFL Statement on Lachie it's not mentioned either. Odd I think if as you say it has ASADA's blessing. I wait ..cheers
  11. Only in the headspace that is aka Essendon-think would any of that make sense. And yet they carry on obliviously in their own little world according to their own little sensibilities of 'justice' The poor diddums...they're victims ya know !!
  12. Essendon supplements architect Stephen Dank to appeal in public against 10 charges Stephen Dank, the architect of the Essendon supplements program, is set to appear before the AFL appeals board on Monday but is angry no oral submissions will be allowed. Dank is fighting 10 charges, including the alleged administration of thymosin beta-4. He is also seeking to overturn the lifelong ban slapped on him by the AFL anti-doping tribunal in June, 2015. (source TheAged.. google Dank set to front public appeals hearing over supplements charges ) No Oral submissions , but in public. Have no idea where this might go but can't see ol' Danksie getting off from anything
  13. Fropm the Herald Sun (via Adelaide Advertiser): All-Australian selector Kevin Bartlett says Jobe Watson cannot keep 2012 honour from AFL team of the year ALL-Australian selector Kevin Bartlett is questioning how Essendon captain Jobe Watson is retaining his place in the 2012 AFL team of the year after being stripped of the Brownlow Medal. The AFL Commission has ruled Watson - the only Essendon player in the 2012 All-Australian team - can remain in the team of the year because there is no “eligibility criteria” for this award. But Bartlett notes a breach of the ASADA and WADA codes for using performance-enhancing drugs is to be met with “all awards, prizes and honours being stripped”. “If you are cold-blooded about it, you cannot understand how the AFL has differentiated between the Brownlow Medal and the All-Australian team,” said Barlett, a member of the 2012 selection panel. “The AFL Commission says it was a no-brainer to take the Brownlow Medal from Watson. If you are cold-blooded, you would have to take away all the other awards and honours too. “In this case, the AFL has adhered to the rules in one instance (the Brownlow Medal) and not the other (the All-Australian team). “What a mess this saga has been.” google (Jobe should lose all-australian spot :KB)
  14. Pure conjecture from here, but where is there any mention of ASADA actually signing off on this ? AFAIK they were still to receive the full brief !! Sounds to me more like the AFL's dodgy sleight of hand. Gill's Dill's hoping no-one saw nor understood what they just did
  15. .....and the Ollie Express comes back off the No 2 road and back onto the mainline !!!
  16. courtesy of Titus ..... The worst ideas of AFL season 2016 Part of the fun of following the AFL is the constant stream of bad ideas and their unintended consequences. Yes, the AFL and its clubs are a terrific case study in the Dunning-Kruger effect Most fans think they could run their club or the competition better than those who currently do and looking at this list, they’re probably right. Extending Damien Hardwick’s contract Much has been written about this already. It made no sense at the time, let alone with hindsight. The Board said they had to do it when they did, to lock Hardwick in. You only need to lock something in that people would try to steal. Of course, it was also a bad idea because it led to… Focus on Football Ticket The rival ticket’s push for the Richmond Board was so shambolic and inept; it made me believe they were qualified to be the Richmond Board. They certainly seemed to have everything required, a vague platform, poor media skills and a general sense that this was all being made up as they went along. Focus on Football even had the same policies as the current board. So bad was this campaign that it made the current board look competent. Truly, that takes some doing. I mean, this was a board that appointed an accounting firm to review their football department. That’s like getting Brendon Fevola to review your finance department. there is more in general about Bad-Footy Ideas here
  17. As this convo is taking a siding ftm but remaining on rails i would like to think we have an idea of Parish, he's very good and will get better. I have no idea how good Clarry will become
