Always been quick. Ask any knowledgeable Bomber fan..( there's maybe 5 lol ) theyll tell you two things... they'll never forgive Pig for defecting...and Milkshake was always quick.. sometimes lethal...often erratic. That annoyed a lot of Bombers. My eldest lad ( from blended family ) is Essendon ( as is sister ) ...he always rated Milkshake...said we had a bargain. I wasn't convinced early...he said...just wait. Max was right . Umpire wrong. McKay judged to kick where Max stood...NOT allowing where the mark was. Max a little clever was denied by umpire error.

I still think he was within the actual mark..his action made it look otherwise perhaps...ie.he moved forward....but for me it was from behind the mark. All moot now.

There was a sense of group niggle wasn't there. Unsure whether instructed or just a thing but they were just as inept with this as they were with the football ! Oh...JL ...IS.. an absolute dh. Possibly not THE catalyst.. definitely a reason. He is far less 'reactionary' than many inside mids... especially ours !! Some players are mercurial in that when they possess the ball they suddenly seem to have space where there's none. Gus has a slightly different take on that....he seems to harness 'time' . These extra moments that manifest allow him to better think the next move. He's generally very clever with possessions, seldom wasteful... that's gold, that's class. Where some players can often be where they ought not, Brayshaw manages to hunt the ball and be where he can effect something. It's a rare commodity...physicality with nous. He is very important to a successful best 22.

Tbh id have to look at a replay. It didn't look like he'd transgressed. I just thought the idiot had kicked too close.
