  1. not having a go at anyone...but I fail to se really what interet Judd will have in appeasing the eagles too much.

he was ripped from Melbourne and sent to Perth without a 'how do you do " etc. He has given good service ( understatement ) he owes nothing. This is Judds game now.

Having said that ..Id happily be totally wrong and have Judds imput be just that...play fair. That can only work to our advantage. I just dont see this as "the" real deal breaker though; probably just me ..lol

  2. Theres a distrust and dislike from the Weagles towards the Filth that has been festering for some time..

Would the WCE cut off their nose to spite Collingwoods face ? I reckon it would come very VERY close !! Not all in footy is rational !!

If the filth couldnt come up with something tenable then the weagles may opt to inflict damage..Yes a somewhat contrived and far fetched scenario...but hey..this is footy !! :)

I just got the impression the article was a nice piece of subtle scuttling !! :-)

What I do expect is Collingwood to pull off some swifty of ingenuity even if it doesnt get the main prize, it will be like a vulture to the left overs and anythign left un attended with doors open whilst the game centres on the main prize !

  3. Something I find absolutely fascinating is judging by comments amongst weagles fans you'd reckon we didint even exist !! Hardly any mention AT ALL about Judd coming to us !!...Some see it as more probable apparently that he may even end up with the Toiges !!...all quite laughable really

  4. They just shouldn't bother doing interviews at the Brownlow (obviously except for with the winner).

'Who are you dressed by random player's partner?...Oh wow.. and do you think she looks good tonight? And who took longer getting ready today?'

    Absolutely riveting.

Juddy had the right answer ................. " I dresed myself "

  5. I actually find a lot of what she writes quite interesting for the most part. Its often a different view than that taken by many of the "know alls". But occasionally she annoys me by offering up twaddle with absolutley nothing to back it...other than her "feelings on the matter'

We ( MFC ) dont rate amongst much of the media ( except of course any that have at some time come in contact with us...funny that!! ) and as such we're never seen as a logical path for ...well anything !! But the facts bely this.

  6. maybe this is just me.. but everyone in the press etc are all thinking the "logical' approach to all this. he oughta go here because...or he might go there because of this and that; and to me nothing about this is straightforward in that respect other than he wants to play in Melbourne mainly at the G.

  7. ive wondered elsewhere, but Clement going creates more problems for Collingwood for mine.. Some may think it opens the coffers more, but that was never going to be a problem for Collingwood.. Now they have positional priorities coming into play they'd rather not have right now... well thats my thinking :)

  8. got no problem with any of that...its just a reality thing. He's starting next year at 29. Any observer of the game will have a question mark of some size ready for his total fitness. In his siutation most clubs should only offer a teo year contract.

He could resign with the Dees and earn his 3rd year, which would be negotiable on the basis of where he's at then.

Melbourne ARE going places.. much to my surprise the doggies are falling apart !!

    still business is business :)

  9. I wont go quite as far as to say cocky.. but he certainly failed to take note of the surrounding 'trade' winds blowing through footy at the present.

He seems to be poorly advised. Hes a good 2nd tier player, but has some questions over his fitness. Given his age I would have certainly thought 2 years was a good outcome. Going for broke is foolhardy..

He will rue this for sure. He ought to look for the nearest pen and sign a 2 year if still on offer.

    Silly boy

  10. please...dont misunderstand me ..I really have no idea ( many will agree no doubt ...lol ) I just in my own littel way would have thought given that the filth will want to be involved no doubt that a little more time was of the needing. Still.. The earlier the better for us I guess.

crossed fingers and al that :)

still...we either get him or we dont, there is no cry !! :)
