We had Jackson and Rivers debut. Harley Bennell play half a game who hasn't played in years. Tomlinson on a wing who has played 1 game for us previously and Langdon on the other wing likewise. May and Lever had played 4 games together. I don't think many other clubs were in that situation. If they were be more specific with the changes.

When you say changes what does than mean? Is it is like bringing in Weid who has played for us before or us bringing in Trent Rivers who hasn't. There is a big difference.

There is a difference between game plan and players capable of achieving it.

Goodwins failed game plan got us to a preliminary final and the following year we were crueld by injuries. This year we have had a mini rebuild but been struck down by corona. Some posters are so pessimistic.

Nev has credits in the bank. He shinned it but we still got the ball. I think that is a reflection of our system in tight games. Get players in the right spots. Look at Hunt who played forward pocket all night. He was everywhere in the last minute. I don't think he was breaking team rules, i'm guessing that he was well coached.

Carey said Neitz was the best CHB because Carey was a competitive beast and hated Glen Jackovich. I've been told this by a previous captain of NM who still catches up with Carey.

I'd put Hunt in the leadership group. He always seems to go to another level when the game is in the balance. Watch the last two minutes On the MFC website he is in the backline, on the wing and in the forward line.

He did struggle first half of the year but he grew wings in the second half. Fingers crossed for him.

Jordan will be better. Both get the footy as inside mids and needd to play in the centre but Jordan has a laser like kick Brayshaw just blazes away..

In clutch moments Jayden Hunt always seems to step up. Yesterday he was playing forward all day but runs past Brayshaw on the back flank when the game was in the balance received it and distributes it well. Then seconds later the ball is in our forward line and he is the one battling the contest. He's previously kicked a winning goal from a set shot. He's also created a contest, won the ball and kicked it to the player (I can't remember) who kicked the winning goal in another game. Plus the torp after 3/4 time siren. If anyone can remind me which games they all were I'll start a new thread

All the great teams play together for years before coming great. Covid19 meant we couldn't train together. We have Langdon and Tomlinson on the wings who were astute selections but haven't played with the group. Harley Bennell, Jackson, Trent Rivers all playing debut games. Kossie will come back next week Lots of talent but until they get games together we will lose more often than we should. This is not Goodwin's fault.

I think Lockhart had a slight injury scare.i'm guessing Precautionary. It makes sense to bring in Hunt. We have a few bulls who just win the footy. We now have serious pace around the ground to exploit that. In my 30+ years watching the dees I've never seen so much pace in a side.

The speed in our forward line is greater than Richmond's. Hunt, Bennell and Kozzi are all lightning. We also now have run and speed on the wings. It might not click this week but we have the right team now for our chaos footy.
