go get him.
psd #1 (or #2).
make it happen demons.
-
He's the youngest player in the SA squad by a couple of months.
It's not much but it does indicate that he might have a bit of talent to mix it with those who are a few years older.
-
wants the job.
-
Coach no, footy dept manager yea.
Same goes for Balme.

It's close to coming together
yup, we're 15 goals off losing by under a goal!

Would love him in the red and blue but don't think it'll happen - it'll be purple and white.

ABC broadcast game?
-
I read that thing on the Gys too.
Ultimately, it's Foxtel Cup form...
-
All we need is one to fall thru to the PSD.
Adams would be just about our best mid.

Shane Savage has been tearing it up of late for the Box Hill Hawks.

When these players hit 40-80 games it's going to click and click big time
am i in 2011 - watts, scully, gysberts, morton, petterd?
or 2007 - mclean, sylvia, bate, dunn, bell?

remove sylvia from your 'core' list and you have my list, spirit.
possibly replace tapscott with terlich as well to be honest - terlich has shown more in 4 or so games than tappy has shown in 4 years unfortunately.
the list remains missing midfielders either way. we need a bona fide star or three to be at the club in 2014, be they free agents or draftees.

another.
absolute procession.
the r2 losing margin could be dwarfed today.
-
both should be superstars of the competition, all things being equal.
essendon should be a terrific side if they don't all cop 2 year bans for peptides.
-
isn't he out of contract?
psd #1 or #2, come on down...
-
take em all!
-
Ah, that makes sense cunner
-
but they were both pre-draft gws-allocated nt kids right?
-
Anyone know why we went for Barry over Jed Anderson?
-
From what I've been told he'd be a likely second or third round pick this year.
It'll be interesting to see whether his value rises in 2014 - if he continues to improve he may end up being like Viney and worth a first round pick. Still can't believe we landed Jack with #26. Bargain!

The round 4 and 5 div 1 games will be broadcast live via the AFL app in the afl.tv video section as well as on Fox Footy.
I don't think I've ever seen so many hyphenated names in teams before - be interesting to see whether they stick with the double-barrel in AFL ranks or drop one a la McMillan-Pittard.

oh, and bird is 24 this year, guthrie is 21 later this year.

Cameron Guthrie (Geel) - small defender / defensive midfielder
186cm 86kgCould be recruited to play as a pure mid at the Dees, but it's really as a small defender that he's played most of his senior AFL football.
Hard as nails, pretty quick, doesn't get a heap of it but locks down on a man.
He's been very impressive in patches in the brilliant Cats' side, and would waltz into a midfield role at the Dees.
ROLE: Given our dearth of small defenders he could play that role or - preferably - would command a midfield role at Melbourne, where he kicked goals at TAC Cup level.
VALUE: Second to third round pick -
Craig Bird (Syd) - defensive midfielder / defensive high half forward
179cm 85kgWould be recruited to play as a pure mid at the Dees.
Hard as nails, loves a goal, and is reasonably quick with pretty good skills.
Had a fantastic 2012, but has been in and out in 2013 thus far. Comes from the best footy culture in the AFL
ROLE: Upgrade on current half forwards like Byrnes/Tapscott and a better pure mid option than anyone on our list bar N Jones and Viney.
VALUE: Late first round to second round pick-

Geelong will be chasing hard. As they always do for their local products.
God, can you imagine that? They keep rolling, Stephen Wells has been amazing for that side.
