zerrett went to the mcluggage school of acting

doesn't feel like it's going to be a very defensive game whatsoever
good to watch as a neutral

There was one awful play by Petracca, we get the turnover and quick connection then Petracca is out in space.
He then proceeds to stop to "lower the eyes" , no one is inside our fwd 50. 3 seconds later he kicks it high and long to no one. Turnover to the Lions.
Fritsch was screaming for the ball just outside of 50, granted he was on the opposite flank but Petracca never saw him.
But tbh, why didn't he decided to keep carrying the ball and then have a kick at goal from 45. He has enough space to do it and most of the Brisbane backs were running to their goal square. Mind blowing stuff 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
it's moments like exactly that where i think for all his undoubted qualities trac is not a 'smart' footballer

Zurharr from North (who isn't having a good year) might be gettable and could solve some of our forward line woes.
stringer v2
i know he is playing in a poor team with limited forward opportunities, but i don't think he'd suit us particularly as he shows no ability to roll thru the midfield
his teammate, luke davies-uniacke, is a 'pre-agent' this year and may be open to a trade to come to a good side
i think he'd cost quite a bit, both from a salary and a trade perspective

i fully expect, given the rest that we've now got ahead of us, that the football dept will back the team that was performing well before the flat game vs bears
OUT: salem, billings
IN: hunter, pickett-

he wouldn't be in our first rotation midfield unit and he would be silly to want to come to us if he wants to be a primary mid
for mine he lacks defensive running, has little penetration in his kicking, and he's slow
it's a pass

our midfield has been way down on clearances and contested football all season thus far
need to address that during the bye

Also our fixture is pretty funny now for a bit:
- 13 days til Richmond
- 10 til cats
- 5 til baggers
- 10 til meth coke -
I know it was only 22 but that feels like the worst loss in five years
3 games in 12 days was a bridge too far
It’s a long season

No to both Daniel and Macrae

It all feels old school MFC watching our midfield getting slaughtered, our backline under siege, and our forwards stagnant
Worst performance since 2019

that's a very repucom-friendly fixture to finish the season

he would be a fantastic replacement for our missing midfielder, gus brayshaw, if we can get him as a free agent
too hard to secure him in a trade

Some Coiterie Members have put over 1 mill into developing Casey Fields such as Spa Pools etc, and with the view to build an Admin building close by. There is so much real estate there to turn that into our home base. With more stands around Casey Oval as well will stop the wind swirls too. Id be all for building there than looking at Caulfield which we will be restricted by room.
casey will be a huge component of our strategy going forward
as has been stated before, you need 3-4 full size ovals with four teams (afl, aflw, vfl, vflw) all needing capacity to train etc. during the on- and off-seasons

plugger is awesome
that he and petty are going to be dual premiership players by the end of 2024 as both key forwards and key backs is an extraordinary achievement

yeah toey as
- us?
- footscray
- gw$
- baggers
- gc17
- pears
- cats
- meth coke?
reckon the latter are due a surprise win; tigs SHOULD beat em, but...
our game and pear vs flagmantle the clear call outs for game of the round for mine; heard some idjit on 3aw or sen saying that footscray vs peptides is the game of the round cos the loser is in huge trouble...

Sadly it appears Salem may of passed his best. Injuries and other issues may of caught up with him. Personally I'm holding judgement until writing him off as he's a one of our smartest footballer's. We can probably adapt his role to make him more than useful into the future.
eh?
he's been very good so far this year
once he moves back into midfield rotation - likely after bowey is back - he'll win a lot more footy
don't look at his fantasy / supercoach scores for his effect on team, and team balance

interesting that yze is relief rucking as quite an undersized option

usually rumours like this don’t come from nowhere. The benefit might be that it’s really then a 3 week break for him to the tigers game.
this is true, but goodwin doesn't play funny buggers - in the presser yesterday he was asked directly about claz and said "he'll play"
