  1. if i was in charge of the peptides, i'd let McGrath go as a free agent at the end of the year if you got a band 1 compo pick for him pros: - he is clearly a leader around the club - he speaks will in the media cons: - if he's a leader, what does it say about their leadership? - he can't play midfield (cos he's too slow) - he's not the #1 rebound defender (that's martin) - he's arguably not their #2 rebound defender (that's laverde) - he's not 'smart' enough to play on the #1 small forward (rioli tore him to shreds in the first half, which was all i saw) so is he really worth keeping given he's probably going to want to be paid like a #1 pick expects to be?
  2. it's a bit disingenuous tho - forgarty and wigg were both 'local products'
  3. and the most annoying thing is that basically doesn't apply any more we got stuffed by an arbitrary rule change that has since changed, again
  4. he was set for midfield for the season prior to bowey being broken
  5. but why change it when he's 30 games in and settled and a key part of our most important area? it's not just about his excellent ball use for me; it's about how good he is defensively
  6. see also: park, kardinia
  7. there's a lot of pagan at the baggers about it
  8. true, but he's settled, playing great footy, and we set up to rebound defensively - which is why he's quickly become such a key player for us i don't understand the fascination of taking a key player in one part of the ground and moving him into another
  9. norwood oval is a fantastic suburban ground
  10. off to the tribunal to argue it was low impact (which is what it was) don't hire adrian anderson!
  11. great call on the enright comparison
  12. why? it'd be pretty easy to argue that there's not a better small defender currently playing in the afl his commitment to whole team defence and ability to use the ball so efficiently out of d50 makes him an absolute weapon we've got ourselves a beauty
  13. anb over rankine on the half-forward flank and spaz over anyone on the bench
  14. the only way he gets a week is if it comes down as medium contact, and i remain confident we'll try and get it downgraded to low, and a fine just don't hire adrian anderson as our representative; he's a lovely chap, but i can't recall the last time he had a win at the tribunal
  15. can't see sideshow bob being dropped he's in form, the side is playing well, and he has a bye coming up after the bears match-up
  16. either no change or pup brown in for pickett laurie, kolt, and sestan all lack pace / smarts at ground level i50 or are being developed as mids amw is building as a half-back and showed minimal forward craft at ground level billings won't be dropped - played in starvation corner and was a key part of our dominance in the third quarter his field kicking is nice, his goal kicking disastrous
  17. i don't see how it can be graded as 'medium' the crom player didn't go off to be assessed - shirley it has to be graded as 'low'
  18. he'll cop a week and we'll go to the tribunal to get it downgraded to a fine
  19. michelle williams from destiny's child
  20. 6: gawn 5: petracca 4: mcvee 3: may 2: sparrow 1: fritsch
  21. 8 points in 5 days outstanding
  22. clear free against lever shocking time for a cuddle
  23. if we're not it's defo gonna be ALL YR FAULT
