  1. Oh yeah, I totally didn't notice that until you pointed it out, he has had a lot of injuries when you think about it hasn't he? Keep up the informative posts, I'd be lost without them.
  2. haha Point taken and seconded.
  3. I'm sure you've memorized them, which rule did I break?
  4. Not everyone at Demonology thinks that about Demonland, although we all think rednblue200X is an arse kissing [censored]. Good luck trying to rally up some new friends here with threads like these, you'll need it.
  5. The problem for me is I see both Bate and Miller as deep forward being their best position. When Miller is at CHF he wanders too far and wide, and while he improved last year, he's still prone to costly turn overs by skills or bad decision making. It hurts twice as much when those turnovers are in the middle of the ground. I'd rather he just plucks it, and has a shot from 0 - 40. Bate is absolutely terrible below his knees and has no turning circle. So he's no midfielder. He leads really well though as seen yesterday, and is a very reliable mark, kicking is hit or miss, but he looks like he's worked on set shots. I'd rather he was deep forward too. Being bad below the knees and no turning circle aren't great attributes for a CHF, but that game he played against Port at the G was the best CHF display I've seen since the Ox. So if I had to make a choice it'd be Bate at CHF and Miller as close to the goalsquare as possible. I'd play PJ as a midfielder over Bate, seriously. We won't have to worry about Newton being in anyone's way unless we get injuries. He's done.
  6. Michael Newton is in the squad, you wanna tell me how he earnt his spot? That one touch in the praccy must've been a spectacular one.
  7. Yeah, those old guys are a much better chance of getting us further into the NAB cup, they've just been brilliant the last 2 years. I'm already bored.
  8. White, it looks better. The aim of a clash jumper is to provide an alternative to the colours you usually wear. But I'd be happy with either. I'd vote for a lump of dog [censored] on a potato sack over that horrific thing we wore last year.
  9. Did this guy - http://www.gspimages.com.au/image/?image_id=174248 - EAT Ricky Petterd?
  10. Seems Juice is clashing with someone at most training sessions... He has got one of those heads you just wanna punch.
  11. Jared Patrenko Chris Yarran Cruze Garlett Liam Bedford Adam Cockie Brennan Stack But apart from all them, Jurrah is about the only one...
  12. Better be for next to nothing, because he's useless, and pale.
  13. So if you watched him this year, why the [censored] would you go back, incorrectly interpret a paragraph from before he was drafted, and hang your hat on that? First of all, todays game is an uncontested paradise, create space, and you will be the preferred option. Morton is an artist at creating space. You say he's exclusively outside. You've watched him twice, I'm sure you'd have noticed how skinny he is, you mustn't have noticed any of the times he went in and extracted the ball however. The guy is a stick figure, he shouldn't even be attempting an inside game with his frame against AFL bodies in his first year, yet he has, which shows me he's not exclusively outside at all.
  14. Spot on. The village idiot says he's a HBF'er and everyone just assumes that's what he is and argues against the village idiot, says a lot about their football knowledge. Sherman is an instictive forward, not quick in a straight line, but has good footwork, can break tackles, and kick goals. He's actually a very good footballer. The likes of Corrie, Hooper and McGrath rotating through the forward line applying defensive pressure, and Sherman's own form have seen him pushed out and tried in different positions. I'm not sure he is what we need, but if he came for cheap, I'd be happy.
  15. What about advertising on here and Demonology? With the profits being donated to the club. I for one hate ads on websites, they're everywhere, but if they're going to benefit my club, I would not complain.
  16. My gut twisted a bit at that moment too. But Jimmy seems like an honest, realistic man, and obviously things are worse than we all know. It's better than being in denial if you ask me. "We're called Melbourne so we won't go anywhere" I hear this, even my uncle whom is the reason I follow the Dees said this to me. [censored], if we have to leave Melbourne, merge, or worse, it's going to happen no matter how long we've been the Melbourne Football Club. Jimmy knows it can happen, and the people on his board know it, that's why I've got faith they'll do their best to turn it around, even though I've not yet heard their plans and goals.
  17. Cameron Bruce is taking over from paul Gardner. He's demanding Morton and Sylvia be traded for Ryan Murphy and Keppler Bradley, as well as increasing his own wage, as being president, captain and coach is a monumental task.
  18. Translator please. I think I failed at replying the first time, and for the life of me I can't decipher this rabble. I'm sensing MC4B doesn't wan't Naitanui due to the fact he cannot spell his name.
  19. Thanks 3/4 of our list, for being so bad we'll get Naitanui with pick 1. I think that's what you wanted?
  20. I think Bailey is a smart bloke, and will drill home this consistancy thing with Miller. He's played him down back, and he knows he's not up to it. It's not about if Miller can play forward and back, or if he should kick more goals, or to be aggressive or hold back, it's all about just focusing on playing consistantly well. I've had him on the junk pile for quite some time, but I'm hoping he'll start playing around the level he did against Freo every week. His time is right now.
  21. I once knew a girl called 'Connect Four', but that's a different story...
  22. Beau Waters is a beauty. Scoring or trying to score is all well and good, but the lack of accountability is always going to bite hard. I should know, after years of watching Daniel Ward and Adem Yze. PS was it Pink Floyd or Cog?
  23. McLean used to watch Essendon train. He's been quoted as saying he didn't support any team.
  24. And they'd be wrong. Craig Bolton plays for Sydney, one of the hardest tackling teams, ever. He also semi-knocked himself out on someone elses shoulder, had nothing to do with a hard tackle. Kerr is about as hard as they come, and got a freak corky-type-thing sliding for a tackle. The game was soft with no great defence (apart from the brilliant Scarlett). I can see though why you'd disagree with me, as that's exactly how Knights has Essendon playing, and you'd be used to it. Enjoy that, I'll enjoy the real stuff.
