Doesnt mean you shouldn't be working on it the last training session either.

Yeah I hate all the players reducing to play on $20mil cos someone just got $22m a year. They care more for personal money than success.

Yeah a hold in is showing up but doing sod all and not with the main squad. And yep, they do it to avoid fines as Macca said.

Farewell Judd McVee
I dont know why people are so worried about not signing early, he is contracted to the end of the year and he will sign when he does or not. I think he will re sign, but if he doesnt. Thats his call.

You are a better person than I am Luci! I hate lots of people and All Essendon people are on it 😄

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Mate, thats all she has ever been. I got a small holiday on the day Roos signed as coach for saying that.

Welcome to Demonland: Jai Culley
And as we see, speed is over rated, Baker, Rowan, Hunt etc all with great speed, but not great players. Pendles, pretty slow, star. Speed of thought and delivery is better than pure speed.

Yeah imagine if he said "ew, no. I only took this job to get away from Simon..." :P

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
The fact we did do it (and I agree it was the right thing), thats the surprising bit.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Of course, but 3rd April is a long way out. I'm more surprised that we might have been testing the waters that far out.
-
Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
You say you sent it on April 3rd, who did you send it to? Was that so you could have it verified as accurate? Just curious, April 3rd was very early season.

Farewell Charlie Spargo
Spargo need to be the last piece in a good team, he won't make you a good team but will do good work in a good team. If he goes I won't care. If he stays I hope the next coach can get more out of him.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Was seriously good fun supporting Bolton when he was the Gaffer, the Eufa game vs Bayern Munich was so good.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I thought it was interesting that he has been reaching out to people getting feedback on his time as coach. Def sounds like someone who wants back in.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Im sure Big Sams love of the long ball would fit right into Goodwins ingrained game plan. Just need Kevin Davies at FF and 17 playing in the back 50 :P

Absolutely nothing wrong with what Ed said. He might have loved Goodwin and not wanted a different coach and that is perfectly fine. I'd prefer the players to be honest.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Bucks spoke well and measured, but he has interest, no doubt.

Green deflected the questions smartly, what else does he say? We sacked him now because he was coaching poorly, players have regressed, game plan is outdated and we have hardly won games the last two years, and we wanted to get a start on his replacement, or yeah we started looking 3 weeks ago... sure its the truth, but with Simon sitting next to him he would have been smashed by members and media for saying that (or something similar). Surprised by what people want when he cant say the truth without being judged poorly for it. As he said multiple times, today is not the day to discuss those agendas.

I reckon Richo also knows he is gone, thought it was strange that he was spoken to at all.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Either Bruce, Enright or Montgomery with Longmire running the Football department would be great.
-
Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
No way I want Hird at our club. In any role, not even as a spectator.

I think this is the correct decision, I still thought they would not doing it until next year tho. I think a young coach is the right path but I'd be pushing for Longmire to oversea the football department.
