After punishing myself by watching the Rams vs GB… well I won’t call it a game, maybe a putrid fest, I watched ravens slaughter Seattle for a bit before being treated to two great games in the phili vs Dallas and the Bengals vs Bills. I’ve been harsh on Dallas but they were great today, just the Eagles were beater and cleaner on penalties until the last drive. Bills, I always rate but they are not in sync, Bengals are now flying that Joe is healthy.

Washington trade Young to the niners. Essentially they move back a year with a third rounder if they don’t sign him long term.

Well today started well in the first qtr, except their by the wording penalty and then the same not paid to us, theirs lead to a TD, ours a FG and that’s where the game stopped being good. Stafford smashed his thumb twice and looks likely to miss this week vs GB. Nakua has been an absolute revelation, it’s seriously like have two Kupps out there. This kid is special.

Highly doubt tomorrow will be a good day for me, Can’t see the Rams beating Dallas in Dallas. Our D isn’t great and I don’t think can hold Lamb or get to Dak enough whilst in the other side I think the Dallas D will make the olines life a living hell. The run game will be key, if we can t that going and slow the pass rush a second would be gold.

Missed two from over 50. The PAT you shouldn’t miss tho. But McVay called poorly at times and Stafford zoned on one read a lot through the game so if they played better his FG attempts might be closer and then miss less.

Rams cut their kicker. Not surprised, what’s annoying is we didn’t re sign Gay who was great over the last three seasons and would have cost sod all. Watching Leonard Floyd smashing it also hurts since we are paying his wage, another dumb off season move.

Vikes matched the niners for toughness today. Did not see that and Cousins was huge! I don’t think the niners played bad, Vikes just had their measure today and without Jefferson too, I actually thought with Jefferson they weren’t much of a chance.

Been teams like the bills that have dropped games badly, Cowboys the same. can the browns finally get things together? It’s a wide open season. And as well as the Eagles were, Miami has a lot of very good players to return from injury soon.

Eagles build a side how it should be. build a strong offensive line then defensive line and then fill the gaps. Loved the throw back unis too!

Rams lose by 7, missed two field goals and a PAT. Both field goal misses led to point to the Steelers. (fg and TD) so we miss the 6 points and gave them good field position twice and they scored 10 off it.

Rams lose rookie RB Wilkins until after the week 10 bye, just after they established a good run game. Went out and signed Henderson to the practice squad and Myles Gaskin to the squad. He will have what, 2 days to learn the play book as we face the Steelers… not ideal at all.
