2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
The NGA system for all clubs except the northern academies is basically on its knees. Who would spend years developing a kid for him to be virtually open slather for selection by other clubs.

National Draft nominations with a connection to Melbourne/Casey Demons
I wonder if the likes of Declase and Hore have their eyes on the fact that unless you nominate for the draft, you won’t be eligible to be selected by your original club again at the following mid-season intake. Return of the Mummy, Part II? Retired Giant's shock draft nomination

NAB AFL DRAFT COMBINE
This should be interesting because all of a sudden a number of players who have been completely out of the limelight for the past three months are going to be front and centre. Reputations could be made if players test well.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
I’m still liking the look of this player. I see that he seems to be drifting out of the estimation of the draft gurus. Cal Twomey has him at 21.

Mac Andrew
Here’s the link to the story. Good luck getting past the pay wall. https://www.heraldsun.com.au/subscribe/news/1/?sourceCode=HSWEB_MRE170_a&dest=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.heraldsun.com.au%2Fsport%2Fafl%2Fdraft%2Fmac-andrew-opens-up-on-his-meteoric-rise-as-his-afl-draft-stocks-soar%2Fnews-story%2F9abf2f091c60a268079d2deb1a185b82&memtype=anonymous&mode=premium&v21=dynamic-cold-test-score&V21spcbehaviour=append It’s a nice feature on his life and attitude to football but very little analysis of Mac’s game.

Farewell Jay Lockhart
As much as I wish Jay well, it’s a strange decision by GWS to chase a player who has been on another club’s list for a year and a half and struggled to get a game. Then again, they are after Brander as well and he’s very much in the same boat.

The Deakin Pereira Thread
Thanks WJ. Fullerton’s a nice part of the world, sunny climate and very close to Disneyland. And if Deakin’s into beaches and surfing, the drive to Huntington Beach isn’t too far.

AFL Trade Radio
Yes. Where does this leave Collingwood’s ruck stocks? They have Grundy, Darcy Cameron and Mason Cox who according to most judges, is a tall who is no good in the ruck. By the time they use up their draft points to acquire Nick Daicos, they’re not going to be in a position to pick up any ruck gems.

Yes. Sheldrick is very hard at the contest. Reminds me of another player who wears the number 7.
