Reading The Red Fox currently, cannot put it down!
  3. I thought working this week and being busy would really help make the time fly by but it's done the opposite! I really want to be off this week and soaking up every bit of media I can. Boo!
  4. Tell you next week possibly..
  5. "The Bulldogs week off benefits them more than the Demons 1 game in 28 days" I'm way too focused on the game this week to think about the 57 years preceding it or any regular Melbourne barbs from the usual numpties.
  6. My thoughts to the millimetre BBP. Absolutely nailed it.
  7. Nah, sounds stupid.
  8. Something that drives me nuts is how easily some people are able to accept watching a grand final at home with a well stocked fridge and all that crap. That's just hell for me, plus we went through that junk last year and once was enough. It's definitely time for bed.

Not losing any sleep about what I said 3, yes 3 years ago. This whole ‘you should have known the future’ routine is getting a bit trite.

Congratulations Ollie Wines, great season. A friend messaged me to say “Wines wins Brownlow and you got Toumpas” Pretty easy to guess what I said next.

Who cares, only one result that matters this week..

A bridge too far for Clarry I think. Wines has it wrapped up.

If Clarry is within 3 at Rd 20 I’ll be very happy.

This is why I don’t usually watch it

Entertaining count. Great to not be the first games of the round haha.
  16. Alright media we can stop talking about the ‘1 game in 28 days’ crap now. We have officially got this session out of the way and will be ready. Repeat, stop talking about it.
  17. Tell him he/she is dreaming! Certainly a bump in stress as we passed the half way point of this ‘bye’. I don’t even want to work this week now!
  18. Yeah look I’ve shared more than enough of what I think about the situation. It does feel like something I’ve lived with hope for all my life is going to have cold water poured on it and it is hard, very hard. It makes you question whether one of your life dreams was actually worth having and the next 6 days I know I’m going to have some very difficult moments dealing with it. But there’s one thing that is for certain, there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. I never ever wanted to cry on GF day for anything other than tears of joy but throwing this on top of it does not help at all. I just hope that time will mend the pain of not being there and that we can somehow take something out of the unique circumstances eventually. Something that only we would have as opposed to everyone else. I live in hope anyway.
  19. Been reading The Red Fox all morning. Quite like this from J.O Smith. "For years they turned the other cheek, In their "gentle Annie days; 'Til Checker taught them vigour, And as it's fair - it pays."
  20. Was hoping this was a midday session! Dang.
  21. Wow, I've been thinking a lot about this CD lately and where on Earth I have it. I was pretty young when I was given this for a birthday present and it gave me a great overall understanding of the history, culture and values of the Melbourne Football club. Even now as I'm reading The Red Fox for the first time my mind goes back to the stories I heard on this CD, thank you so much Bill! I'm so glad to hear it's available again in digital form.
  22. Judging by the good business we've done this year I'm happy to back the club in here.
