Between the Flags - a great new book on the MFC
Will there be a hard copy Grape? Got enough room on the shelf for 1 page, that should do it.

Head high tackles
Bevo needs to think more about why he's not under the slightest bit of pressure for his job.

The Run Home
The reasons are my own and no means fact but it's just how I'm thinking it though: - I feel we need another scalp against a top team. Will help with the psychology going into September - It will separate us further from another top 4 challenger - If there's a chance to have the hard work done before the Rd 23 clash against the Lions I'd prefer that to leaving it for that game. If the positions become somewhat settled by then it gives us a chance to rest some guys. Had we knocked off Geelong this one wouldn't matter as much but games like this mean it's all in our hands, we must get it done in Perth IMO.

The Run Home
We must take the scalp against Freo. Bottom line

Training Ground?
One of the best things I've seen.

Jordan De Goey
Oh yeah at Good things? Would love to go but it's a Friday argh.

Jordan De Goey
No offence to your mate but I hope his satisfaction ends soon.

I always call Trent Rivers "He'll never be an old man river" but it hasn't quite taken yet.

New Balance 40% members offer
Sounds very convoluted as opposed to just getting the usual code.

Farewell Luke Jackson
I think he just doesn't want to say hi to Geelong.
- Training Ground?

The Run Home
Does that mean 16 wins banks top 4?

We just had a thread on Taylor Walker of which 80% of the posts were about the culture killer that he is. It depends where you want to draw the line with culture but I’d have thought this was in a similar boat.

The Run Home
You could say this about any team around that mark but gee if Sydney knocked off Essendon then top 4 would be a major possibility. Just proves this isn't going to be easy for anyone.

NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
It's such a flawed situation. I wonder if the AFL will have the Kangas under a microscope on the lookout for any action not within the spirit of the game? Maybe Ben Mackay's forward move recently should have been scrutinised more! Will let it slide until Davies Uniacke lines up at Full forward and Goldstein goes to Full back but at that point I expect an investigation! Real talk though I'd go with the confidence and belief route. It's underrated.

NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
Agree, at some point and especially this late in the season all those 'penalty shootout' wins catch up with you. Just hope they are nice and wrecked for our game.

Team first - for certain a goal
The key thing I take from your post Jaded is that whatever you do, be decisive. Eg, I'm going to mark this, I'm going to kick this and not have one bit of indecisiveness about it. If it doesn't work then fine but it's easier to fix the slight selfish issues than a confidence issue. So I do give credit for this. I don't have an issue with Fritsch going for goal if he believes it's gettable, there's been plenty of times where he has dobbed the goal and I've turned around to whoever and said "He had to kick that because player X was open" but this isn't a bad thing because it shows a guy who isn't afraid to take it on himself. It's a better problem to have than a Joe Daniher looking to give off a handball when he was brought in to kick goals. The issue has also been massively amplified because all of these instances come when goals seem to be at a real premium for the team and we badly need one. We're having enough trouble scoring right now as it is and yes Bailey probably cops it a little harshly as a result because yes, he is our leading goal kicker and at some moments he seems like our only avenue to goal. All I want is if a teammate is in a much better position for him to see that. The Spargo one was this in a nutshell for me.

POSTGAME : Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
It does kind of bother me that we were smashed on clearance again. -13. Clarry makes a big difference to that but that needs to be much closer to level.

Team first - for certain a goal
Sorry but I'm not buying this 'being caught in two minds' crap. A good forward always has the ability to see a wide open man ahead of him in a better position. Yes you need a little greed as a forward but some of these burns are really really bad and have a worse effect than people think. I will admit the media scrutiny has been over the top and that this happens everywhere but I don't care about everywhere I care about here.

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Yep, these are the changes for me. Loved Adam's game but he has to make way.

Cam Zuhaar
He does play a bit taller, like Toby Greene.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Really? This exact one? Phwoarrr.

Yze to coach GWS?
If they were running a conventional shortlisting process you'd bank him in for the last 3 suitors no doubt. It would be ideal to get Adem for at least one more year but it seems inevitable that he will be a senior coach at some stage. Would hate to lose Yze and Chocco in the same year though..
