I originally wasn't a fan of having JVR do so much ruckwork this early in his career but he competes hard and it seems to be a good way to get him into the game. For young key position forwards like him there are games where you find it hard to get a kick, keeping him involved can only help. Thoughts on this? I know Binman will probably say he's not like other young talls, would reslish the challenge and doesn't need the cotton wool treatment 😜

Yep, we really aren't doing a lot of defensive running in that situation and we're staying fresh. Games and seasons are marathons not sprints, its all about timing your run in. I'm not about perfect 100 point drubbings or 5 star performances at this part of the season.

It's hard to say for someone like Nibbler that he's fitter than he's ever been knowing the standard he sets but I genuinely think he's fitter than he's ever been.

I think our ball movement has taken a massive step forward. Using different angles to get those handballs to running players and trying to get through the middle more. Looking good!
