Yes i am quietly Amazed at Arsenal..we do not have 50% of some of these Arab Based Teams Budget. But just Keep Firing. Arsene Venge must be an amazing man to pull those teams together. The teams who sold out to Arab interests could be in a whole lot of trouble if there is a couple more credit squeezes. I hope they have some sort of Plan B going forward. I doubt Arsenal will finish Top at seasons end, but at the same time they could do it, even with serious injuries to goal scorers this year we are up there. Do those 2 teams get 20 wickets very often? i am no expert on those 2, but i havent heard of any great bowling performances on the news or radio at all. I am always worried they are Hungry rather than how well they played. Zimbabwe is such a mess-unnecesarily too which makes it even sadder...

Yes you are probably right, but the point i was trying to make i suppose is ...A poor batting line up will make the odd big score more than a bad bowling attack will take 20 wickets. Would take a while to collect the data but would be interesting to see the percentages on that.

Interesting Stat that one and they were certainly 3 Great Sides. I agree that Bowling is being made more difficult particularly those bloody roads they prepare in India when sub continent Teams seem to play. Would be interesting to know how many Bad Bowling attacks have taken 20 wickets in 5 days against a good batting attack...very few i would bet.

Fair enough, i see it differently. M Hussey has been great for Australia but i believe he is ready to step down from Test Level. And it bothers me that an innings such as that will delay that course. Asif was really Stiff. Hussey Extremely lucky. Ponting went on to make a great innings-sure he was lucky, but many batsman have been dropped once. But 4 times, that's Bazil Fawlty cricket!! I don't give a stuff about the test just played in Time. I am interested only in Smashing the Poms, & i want the Selectors to think in that vien, I don't think M Hussey should go to England.

How many runs would M Hussey have made in that innings against a decent wicket keeper? That is the question i ask.. Yes his effort with Siddle was great but he should never have been there by then. That Wicket keeper was useless.

We just disagree on certain points RR, i think my points are fair calls actually. How many times has a Batsmen been Dropped 4 times before atTest Level? Not often i would suggest. The 2nd Test was a classic but we did not win it. The Pakistani's Chocked & lost it. Asif's 6-41 Ripped us apart. The fact his team didn't back him up is not his fault. Hussey's knock did not change the game...The wicket keeper did that job.
