  5. yep, he'll be 28 come rfa time, plus if he's forced to stay against his wishes, knowing he's just treading water and unpopular with the football dept. his form could easily drop and he ends up an end of round 1 compo for gcs not saying that would happen, just that it's no surety he will go band 1 in 12 months time

    our thoughts on melk at the time were also overlaid with the impending risk of asada suspension hanging over his head (which did eventuate) i got mixed info re his worth from essendon relos/friends. some i valued thought he would be a good pickup esp with a new start so yeah, the net results by many here were quite mixed
