And in anotheown favouriter post you said Davey should? ZHe was very ordinsry at best and did less than Dunn, Bate or Maric (Your well known fave)in any of their games this season but you are happy for him to stay. Hmmm. Dunn plays ok certainly nowhere near the worst. Gets bagged and you want him dropped. Bate has an average game. Gets bagged and you want him dropped. MARIC doesn't even play. Gets bagged by you and shouldn't be played etc etc Davey is definitely one of the worst. Ohh he deserves another chance and needs to be played?? WTF?

What did I miss? Where you watching a replay or something. I thought our forward line was very ordinary and disfunctional and Davey did bugger all.

With regards to the incident, he slowed down as he did not have an option going forward. The reason he didn't have an option was because for some reason we had our two "tall forwards" in the backline! Both Jurrah and Watts did not start in the forward line????

We lose by 186 points and we single out our forward pocket and dedicste a thread to it and then bag him. Some on this site are as pathetic as the demons performance today!

Green, Maric, Martin, Newton, Scully, Sylvia and Aussie are all out of contract at the end of the year too. Haven't heard much about any of them going anywhere (apart from Scully to GW$)

Ins: Newton, MacDonald/Rivers & Jetta Out, Jamar, Grimes & Trengove Martin is unlikely to come up, Rivers is doubtful. I would actually try Jurrah in the ruck. He has a great leap so could be competitive and if not the fall back is Newton and Dunn.

x2 Poor Bater was very ordinary and had a severe case of the yips. Dropping marks, missing tackles misjudging the bounce nothing worked for the poor bugger. I have been a firm believer that you need to give people more than one game to prove themselves but having said that others have not had that opportunity (Maric, Jetta, Petterd)so for the sake of consistancy he might find him self back at Casey and needing to wait for his next opportunity after playing well there.

I see similarities between Jones and Maric. Even when they have a good game there is always someone who can find a way to bag them. OOH if Scully was ..... If Mckenzie was.... WELL they're not! Get over it. Jones is and he IS getting the job done and playing well. Give the guy some credit. We won and Jones whether you like him or not was an important part of that win. Same goes for Maric. Some say an ineffective 31 possessions etc etc. I thought he was really good and have always been a fan so its good to see him take his opportunity but like jones he will have those that will want to bag him aswell. AND WE WON!
