Do subs have to come from the emergency list. If Hunt is right I'd have him as the sub. Can play forward or back and have impact, if we find our self in a difficult situation on the scoreboard and need to throw everything at it. The Geelong geriatrics would struggle in a 4th quarter chasing down Hunt.

I think we need hibbos ability to play tall and small more than hunts run. Hibbo can still run it off half back although he had lost a yard. Having Bowey offsets any worry about run as his kicking is elite and an executed kick moves faster than any player can run

Unfortunately Smith's body is not up to playing sustained AFL footy, I feel for the bloke. From a team perspective it is no damage done. I was actually wanting this change before the injury. Hibberd is a smart defender, Smith while athletic is a bit lost defensively at times.

Agree. I think we will also have the neutral wce booing the umps crowd on our side. Hatred for Geelong and their coach, Captain, danger, Hawkins etc is pretty much universal unless your a Geelong fan. Add to it the sentimental favourite being us due to our drought I think Friday will have a home game feel for us

I don't mind that they had a comfortable game against a depleted GWS. Sydney would have probably won based on what I saw tonight and are much more dangerous. The gap between GWS last night and our current level is huge. Geelong won't be easy but I have faith we will be better for longer over 4 qtrs

Me too , my parents , sister have been going for 25+ years every home game. are all double vaxxed and following the draconian rules for 200+ days. no way I'm not watching a prelim of GF without them.

Pretty average standard and game for 2nd v3rd to get into a prelim. Geelong are cooked and port are ok havent rated them all year and nothing I've seen tonight suggests they are the best team in the comp.
