Can you imagine the ferals if ginnivan snags the first one

GF crowds not as loud or parochial as they are in other finals, due to the huge amount of corporates and cost of tickets. I actually think that and heat will play into Brisbane's favour

Pettys injury profile is not good. Relying on him to be our KPF is a risk.

💯 agree, so many posters on here assume Petty will be back ready to go next year and just slot back into the forward line in the form he had before he got injured. He had a great couple of weeks and showed he might be the answer permanently but I'm not assuming it will just happen

Melbourne supporter, come premiership player.  In his prime at 27.

No player is perfect, I get players have limitations but at his best can offer something.

Its a no from me if a 2nd or 3rd rounder is the only offer, would rather keep, unless he wants to leave, in which case I would honour his wishes.

Not best 22 certainly , but good depth . Definately would have preferred him over Laurie  and Jordon in the finals this year if he was fit

  4. McStay is a big out for the pies. I don't rate him much but he had been decent in the finals and takes a good defender. Harris Andrews should have a field day and Brisbane forwards will keep Collingwood backs accountable. Midfield battle will be interesting and could go either way. Overall Brisbane more talented and should get it done if they don't get stage fright

I'm on record not wanting to draft McKercher and the better he is, the stronger my conviction.

If he lives up to expectations he'll be off to captain the inaugural Tasmanian team just when we need him to take the reins from an aging midfield. Yes we'll get good draft compensation but we won't be in the phase needing an 18yo mid.

    Bookmark it.

That's some Nostradamus level foresight .I'll take 4 years of mcKercher while our current window and if he reaches the levels you suggest if being a walk up captain for a new Tasmanian team chances are he's helped us Jag another flag. Best available without crystal balling is Taylor's philosophy

    Gold Coast’s pick 4

“There’s a clear front-runner now and it’s the Western Bulldogs. They’ve got picks 10, 17 and 36, which gives the Gold Coast Suns what they want.

“This doesn’t mean that Melbourne or Adelaide or any other club is completely out of it, but I do think it is the Dogs’ to lose now and I think there’s an acknowledgement from the Suns that the Dogs are the frontrunners, too.”

Good ol tom Morris , always makes to make things sound a sure thing then backtrack in the next breath. They all do it

  7. Giving this a bump as Colby is the exact player we need.

Skillful, quick, kicks goals, hits targets . I hope he falls to us but not sure he will make it. I'd be doing everything possible to get GC's 4 to grab him

I thought the Ch 7 commentary was deplorable.  I have accepted that BTs brain is always at another game but the others commentated not on what they saw but who they saw

Daicos - what a champ; (had just slipped and fallen over)

Sidebottom - ever reliable (coughed up 2 goals)

    fmd

Peaked when they called the Daicos head high on Greene a great tackle
