We have told Gold Coast why Bailey needs to return home, and we hope they would do the right thing by the kid and let him get back home to family"
You have to flip the narrative, and make it seem like GC are stopping a kid from going home on compassionate grounds, DESPITE there being a good trade solution on the table that gets everyone what they want.
Lets see how this plays out
you need to be on the payroll this is exactly what they should do. Make GC out to the be bad guys which can hurt them as a destination club going forward is the right way to go about it. No more being Nice

100% , the impact that can have on a group seeing a (albeit great ) player get away with off field antics which caught up to him resulting in reduced on performance , impacting the team and continually be coddled and given games and chances is no good for a club.

It's all hype and it's a huge chunk of their salary cap for hype.
Their young core is promising, but it's not elite, their young kids are no better than ours outside of NAS.
But then we have Kozzie who while different is also supremely talented.
Classic St Kilda bringing in has beens or good but not elite level talent at over inflated prices, been doing it since the 80s .

More the kicking skills required, same as trac. Many including me lamented seeing Oliver trac and Viney lining up in the centre square time after time given they all lack kicking skills and high level footy IQ that the best midfields have. King knows what is needed in the midfield to be successful and those 3 ain't it.
The Bailey Humphrey Thread
in Trade & Draft
THey may just rate Humphrey that highly looks like we do. Would you easily give up a Trac or Clarry in 2019 for an aging star?
