Does anyone know where Watts plays week to week?
I am keen on watts if he is all he is talked up to be - a gun CHF
but I am keen to see him 1st hand or at least keep an eye on how he is going
-
I am keen to hear from anyone who has seen the 3 potential number 1 draft picks since the carnival.
Is Watts kicking bags @ School or u/18 level?
How are Rich and Natanui going in the WAFL?
Any info would be appreciated.

Good luck Jeff,
I for one will be glad to see you running around tonight

Hi,
does anyone if the club makes much more out of merchandise sold at the demon shop in the MCG compared to merchandise sold at other outlets
I am feeling all warm and fuzzy after hearing about last nights dinner and want to load up on new demons gear
-

I feel great about it ,get on board everyone

THe showgrounds would be perfect!!!!!
train and tram lines to drop you right at the door and only 7 km from the CBD

I have noticed Jimmy Stynes, wearing a 2006 member scarf at all games. He turns it around so you can't the 2006 member part
how bad are we travelling finacially if the prez has to wear 2 year old stock

I am not against getting a champion player but a million dollars a year for 5 years is too much for any player (maybe buddy franklin is the exception) given our current ladder /list position and finances

Has a coach in his first year ever had such debarkle follow him?
The axing of 2 CEO's, the formation of a new board and question marks over Melbourne's sustainibillity in Victoria. Add to this the retirement of his captain as well as a unbalanced list that is mixed with either really young kids or really old driftwood and nothing really in between, saying he has had it tough is an understatement.
Yoda has been a true professional throughout, he and Jimma will lead this club out of the darkness i'm a believer

Roost It,
Thoughts of Templeton ran through my head when I read the article. His body is shot in my opinion
-
I read Caroline Wilson's article in the Age about McNamee's departure from the club - Sharp words before knife.
Glad Jimma sacked McNamee if these were his genius ideas to get us back on track. Brown has maximum three good years left IMHO.

Watts for me looks like he has all we need both on and off the field.
How good did Banner look with his pace and skill?
Probably won't last till 16th pick though.

My first reaction to Colin Sylvia is to trade him. Col reminds me of Medhurst a little bit, just not as good. I'd be happy to trade him if the offer was right. I think he needs a good end of year to be not thought of being traded, if that makes sense.
Keep he will be our Robbo replacement for years to come

Fox Sports 1 (Channel 501) is showing the following programme today at 1.00pm
AFL: Under 18 Championships Wrap
AFL. Matthew Campbell and his panel of experts discuss the recent Under-18s championships and look at which young footballers' lives will be changed forever when AFL clubs sit down in November to select players at the National Draft.
Will be worth a look to see what the so called experts say about Watts , Rich etc

MELBOURNE
Backs Matthew Whelan Colin Garland Matthew Warnock
Half backs Chris Johnson Paul Wheatley Lynden Dunn
Centreline Cale Morton Cameron Bruce Simon Buckley
Half forwards Colin Sylvia Matthew Bate Aaron Davey
Forwards Paul Johnson Brad Miller Austin Wonaeamirri
Followers Mark Jamar Clint Bartram Nathan Jones
Interchange from Daniel Bell James McDonald Stefan Martin Michael Newton Shane Valenti Jeff White Adem Yze
In Aaron Davey James McDonald Jeff White Adem Yze
Out Brad Green (hamstring)
Interesting to see Adem Yze in the side.
Would expect White to play.
Would have thought that Dunn got the job on Palmer????
I think Martin deserved to be named on the ground after last weeks performance.
As much as I love Jmac , Yze and White the bench has gotta be Bell, Newton, Valenti & Martin.
The other 3 can have the farewell games at the G - they deserve that later in the year.
-
the way the ball comes off his foot is like he is wearing ugg boots not footy boots. keep him in the midfield where he can deliver his trademark hospital handballs to a stationary target or helicopter floaters into the forward line
-
I vote Cheney so i get to see the 2 redest heads in football run around on the same field
-
Barring injury I would be happy if they left this side as is for the next 4-5 weeks to see weather some of these guys are up to it eg juice , bell , jamar then bring back the old timers in the last 2 rounds to say goodbye yze, holland , Jmac , white
-
spike cheney looks like a tuff red nut
can't wait til him and Bate are in the same team we will have match sticks at two ends
-
been good this year will finish top 5 B&F got at least 2- years left in him
a rebuilding side needs some experience in it too we can just load up on youngsters and hope for the best
besides we would get jack for him
-
Meesen named as back pocket!
Time for him to pull his finger out, otherwise Sandy Reserves could be his next stop.
-
bench for mine should be Martin, Valenti, Newton, Bell
Valenti , Martin deserve to keep their place even if Martin didn't do much against Brisbane he should be given the chance to string a few games together
Would love to see Juice Newton given the rest of the season in the seniors to see if he has what it takes if not see ya
Also love to see bell given a chance to get his 2007 form back he is an important player for us going forward
PJ's season over
in Melbourne Demons
